Ze sinister strawberries. I ate 1/2 kilograms of them and got stomach hurt for a day LOL! But I still want them.. like umm 1 kilograms of them... So sweet and so BIG! You can even pick them by yourself!

The white crater on Ciwidey. The water actually not green, the ground is since they are sulfur and other volcanic stuffs. You can't swim there, the ground reacts like sand traps and the toxic in the center of the lake kills everything.

The experiences are a lot more than the pics, like going to famous shoe-making centre, eating rabbit and horse skewer, tasting a very sweet and watery pineapple, 'running' down the mountain sloopy road with motorcycle, getting lost in the city, to talking with holland couples that will going for three weeks vacation on certain tourism spots on Indonesia. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Wow, those are some great and beautiful pictures, and yea experiences to new places last a lifetime :3 At least you were more conservative on photos, when I went to Japan I used up 13 rolls of film in 10 days XD
My favourite photo is white crater, it looks so.... toxic XD I bet it smelt really bad around those places though coz of the sulphur D=

My base on earth is in the middle of the Atlantic ocean actually. You can never reach it though because of the non-euclidean geometry that would melt your brain.

Where'd you go, 'cause it looks like somewhere in south America or southeast Asia. If you already said where you went I'm too lazy to look again.

Was it cold up there in the mountains? I see you're wearing long-sleeve shirt and long pants. Would be a torture here in Thailand! ;)

The nature scenes are especially nice. If you'd tell me that you went to northern Thailand, I'd believe it, based on the pics, even though I lived there for years. :D They're very similar, both in looks and lifestyle. We have tea plantations and strawberry farms maintained by hilltribes, and there are hotsprings where we boiled the eggs in... even the plants and the vegetation looks the same.

One exception though: I've never seen a tree that grows with the pattern already carved into its bark. That looks amazing! What kind of tree is that? The artisans over there must have it easy then. :p

Glad you had a great time there, Rose. Everyone needs that special time off now and then.

Yes, it's southeast Asia. She went to Bandung, southeast of Jakarta, on the island of Java. Judging from the pics, it's worth a visit - or two. ;)

@Screwball: I took like 50 or more pics, using my handphone. So no need for stinky film rolls.

White crater isn't smell except if you go nearer (not that bad) or when wind blows to your direction. The most bad smell there is a sealed cave, with warning 'dont get close too long to the cave'. I smell like few seconds of it and I got itcky throat for days!

I'm from one hot smokey metropolis though I'm used with long-sleeve shirt and long pants when going outside. The grey cloth I use actually a wool mantle/jacket and I also use scarf after buying one from situ patengan lake.

I'm not sure, he allows me to take photo but I doubt he will allows me to know the tree and where to find it.
