View Full Version : Can you even confirm your Forums Account?
Well apparently when I access Change Avatar or Change Signature, it says
Blue, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
I might need a forum walkthrough now, lol.

Perhaps you may find a stickied thread in G.C.
You can confirm your account by:
Logging in for 2 days with 5 posts.
Log in for 2 days and have 20 reputation points.

As the bunni said, you need to meet some requirements before you can actually do stuff on here. Basically it's to prevent spambots putting naughty pictures in their avatars and signatures :P

What are reputation points, anyways? I'm only asking in general, no specifics.
-btw, I think I need to make more posts. Even if I posted more than five.

You also need to be here for two days as well. As in your account be active for two days.
Rep points are basically some kind of reward system where if you like someone's post you give an anonymous rep point to them. Also works the other way, if you think someone is doing the wrong thing or don't like their post you can take a rep point off them. However you need to give out rep to a certain number of people before you can give/take rep from people. You could also earn them in competitions but we haven't had any for a while.

That might be also because some forums (eg. junkyardia, roleplaying) don't increase postcount. Someone with lots of activity there would still be counted by the system as a newcomer.
But it looks like you're all set - if you still have any probs, let us know! :)
