View Full Version : I have more suggestions. Omg.

It's probably already been suggested, but I didn't see any other topics on the first page of this subforum mentioning it.

But alot of games have some kind of defense, even traps. I know this isn't the military kind of game, but they'd be handy-and give more reason to increase the amount of enemies to spawn, keeping the game more interesting and active.

I really don't know any particular kind of defense that could be built, or trap, for that matter. I guess you could make like spikes or poisonous plants on all the structures and make like some pesticides on the plants so that when enemies attack they slowly lose health.

Or if you had like a carrot turret or actual military units(I know this is pushing it), or arming your bunni's with some weaponry(carrot sticks, poison plants, again these same ideas).

I honestly don't want to see marching armies of carrot stick bunnies flapping poisonous leaves at deers and monsters, I'm just trying to get my point out that the game could use a little more action, but to an extent where it doesn't ruin the 'build a community' concept.

Due to this idea, I thought that we could also have minigames that would be unlocked at certain parts in the story. One of them could be like the idea in the spoiler. We would recieve a different type of currency, one that could be purchased ONLY for new games/decorations. There, obviously, would be a shop that used that type of currency, with valuble decorations and games that could not be shaken out of a tree. Maybe even a new species (such as a goat or llama) could be available in the shop?

So maybe you would have a minigame for working when you get a new worker?
Maybe to get married you could do a minigame for preparing for the wedding?
For the decorations, maybe you could get a holy statue of a fox or a pie-plant or something like that?

Wow, we're on a roll here. That's a cool idea, Mii.

There could be all sorts of minigames, like the first worker you task, you could receive the minigame "On the Job Labor" or something, and you play a minigame of doing their job and making high scores to get the most production or something.

:D Exactly!

Cool idea! Lets see if we can pinpoint some of them now..

What if, for the first tree you shook, you unlocked a minigame where you try to get the most points(trees wont drop gold and wood in the minigame, they drop points) in a certain amount of time, and maybe compete with other players or AI.

Simple and something to do

Hmm I think we can't do that because there's no connection to other players.

Maybe there would be a minigame where you use seeds to grow a tree and water it?

yea, planting your first fruit tree unlocks that minigame. and there be a minigame button on the side that displays all the unlocked minigames and you can come back and play them

Hmm.
Minigames:
tree- watering??
flower-orginising a flower garden near the sun
harvest of a apple tree-catching apples in basket
other fruit trees-same with other fruit
meeting corriender peach or Pete- waving and greeting them by chooseing a conversation that most suits them
worker at mine- clicking fast at rocks
worker at sawmill- clicking fast at trees

There should be minigames for motes too right?
Fox one: vodka party in a forest
Monster one: eating foxes in a den or forest if no den is available
And so on.

Deer: try to consume as much food as possible before you are defeated.

Thats the only one i can think of lol. I tried posting a link to a website with a game I wanted to use as an example for a game i was thinking of(the game I'm thinking of isn't all that similar, but it will get you into the 'thinking outside the box' sense so you can better understand what I am to say), but it wont post until it is approved by an admin. I think the admins are inactive or something

Nah, the admins will be on soon.

Unlock Peach dance- A dancing game where you click the arrows to spin and dance.

At the start of the game how about you could choose text speed and minigame hardness.

Maybe they denied my link, thinking it was a virus site. Funny, the site Kongregate that the link went to is where I first played Bunni: Where we First met. They shouldve recognized the site as healthy since they uploaded their game there lol.

I've got one:

Unlock your second island: Island Hopper- jump at timing to next island and avoid monsters. Like a mini, constantly moving, platform game.

Lyshomasta, I can't find your link. Can you repost it?

Yeah... Minigames for mining and harvesting wood, if you don't play them, you get gold and lumber at a normal rate, but if you play them often, you start getting bonuses, like faster workers, and a bonus to whatever supply the minigame was for, like +500 gold.

Yea, that'd be good, kitten.

Too much… how about 50-100 wood depending on how you do?

If you've seen my link, you can see the game I was referring to.

That game is very complex(to design), and slightly difficult for the average person to enjoy [mindlessly]. I myself found it boring after a while and pointlessly difficult.

But we can make a minigame using the same thinking. Like:

You pick a kind of seed to plant(like Apple, Peach, Plum), then each tree will have its own traits(Growth, Resistance, Offensive). When the plant grows, you can shake it and get another seed once in a while, and by strategically planting your seeds, resist nature and animals. Note that it's not going to be a full fledged game, but just a plant tree(unliked the varied game i link), and build a forest.

Over time it will become increasingly difficult to survive nature and you will lose, and get a high score. Since the game isn't about resources, and rather about planting trees, you should get what trees give: small gold, wood, or crystals.

So how about this:

Bunnies and pirates like apples, poises, Maple wood and gray stones.
Foxes and pandas like peaches, roses, Pine wood and gold stones.
Monsters like plums, Ironwood, tulips and black stones.

You could have a harvest zone such as you have a Maple Forest with a bunni and three apple trees. You will get more points with this combo, like instead of +5 wood for each harvest you will get +10 wood.

But since it would be too easy that way, you have to water the Bunni Harvest Zone with Bunni Powder which is a type of water. You have to put a good amount in each area and be careful to not spray Peach Corriender Pete or a worker or the minigame would end, you would not get any points and you have to wait 12 hours to play again.

That's good, and hopefully simple enough to create. I'd like to see something like that

Madi2
04-17-2010, 06:51 PM
Hmm but if that gets put in the game there would need to be more complex minigames for everything else, or at least mining.

Foxes should like ironwood instead, since that's where they come from is the ironwood forests >_> at least that's what the game says anyway

Now that I think about it, bunnies should have plain stuff like poises pine wood and gray stones as they are plain. Foxes would want ironwood tulips and black stones and monsters should have roses maple wood and roses because it seems as they wanna be rich so they would like that.
