It's probably already been suggested, but I didn't see any other topics on the first page of this subforum mentioning it.

But alot of games have some kind of defense, even traps. I know this isn't the military kind of game, but they'd be handy-and give more reason to increase the amount of enemies to spawn, keeping the game more interesting and active.

I really don't know any particular kind of defense that could be built, or trap, for that matter. I guess you could make like spikes or poisonous plants on all the structures and make like some pesticides on the plants so that when enemies attack they slowly lose health.

Or if you had like a carrot turret or actual military units(I know this is pushing it), or arming your bunni's with some weaponry(carrot sticks, poison plants, again these same ideas).

I honestly don't want to see marching armies of carrot stick bunnies flapping poisonous leaves at deers and monsters, I'm just trying to get my point out that the game could use a little more action, but to an extent where it doesn't ruin the 'build a community' concept.

An interesting idea, and I don't think that has been done before. A deer trap could be cool, that way you could dispose of deer humanely instead of blowing them up with a bomb :p

It would be cool if you could catch them in a deer trap cage and then like, release them in a deer sanctuary :D Monsters don't need to be blown up they just require a bribe.

Yeah, exactly. Like something reasonable that wouldn't be too astray from the actual game concept.

Or maybe you could make the deers defend you against other animals, like if you caught a deer in a cage and forced it to accept a bribe, it would defend you against, i dont know, smaller animals?

I don't think deer would accept bribes, they just want to eat foodz, so that's why a deer sanctuary would be cool, because they could be in a place where they could freely eat foodz without fear of being blown up :D

Deer are pretty much the only animal animals in this game, every other animal in the game is 'personified' so they appear more human than animal. Whereas the deer are portrayed as being driven by baser instincts (hunger), the other personified animals are portrayed as 'intelligent and socialised'. Monsters are interesting because they are neither one nor the other, I guess they could be seen as 'natives' they aren't seen as 'socialised' at first but the can be socialised with bribes. This is why bribing deer would be silly :p

But yea, deer traps would be cool, as long as they were humane :P

In one of the early beta, you have to build tower to defend your workers from monsters. And if you failed, your workers got eaten one by one. It doesn't came to final version for some reasons.

I remember that!

Maybe a deer island could be near bunni island but you need a deer to build a bridge there and you can't plant anything?

Or maybe you could trade deer to a deer buyer who lives in Deer Island and you can visit but have to be careful deer don't escape?

What if you could walls? Like maybe dense shrubbery as a blockade or some sort. That'd be really neat
