Why my tablet why?

Its my tablet! Its not working correctly! the only thing i CAN do it DRAW DRAW DRAW! if i just try to hover over the JUST move my mouse, it oesn't work, the only thing that i can do to move the mouse is push dont really hard!

Any suggestions on how to fix this? cause it wasn't like this before. ;[

Try disconnecting it then reconnecting it? Also if you have a mouse connected try disconnecting that and using the tablet by itself.

Otherwise I really don't know, sounds like it's stuffed otherwise.

I don't know what do you mean. But if you use photoshop, its pressure sensitivity sometimes not register and you have to restart it several times.

What brand of tablet do you have? Sometimes the driver can get messed up.

I've only used Wacom tablets over the years so I can only go by that. Try uninstalling and re-installing your drivers. I have noticed that somehow, two copies of the tablet driver will be running at the same time. This will interfere with each other and make the tablet act erratically.

Make sure that, as mentioned, the pressure sensitivity is working correctly in the program you are using and in the tablet driver its self.

Last thing to try would be to take off the plastic case around the tablet and draw directly on the pad.


Oh and sometimes tablets DO GO BAD. I had that happen to my first one. (Which I proceeded to take apart. Awesome how they make them work.) You might have to replace it. Try using it on another computer. Even without the driver the tablet should still be in "mouse mode" automatically so you can tell if it's the hardware or the software.
