Bunni Island Wars! Backstory

Jenxas' Backstory:
Back when he was younger, his parents were killed by one of the first of the war attacks. He knew he could feel pain for what was done, because it gets you nowhere, as his father said before. After that, he was sent to an orphanage and was very quite. He didn't make any friends, but he worked hard. When he turned to an adult, he did some jobs as a doctor, but then joined into the war. Though he had little experience in it, he did take a good part of it. He was one of the crew members that built the wall of Foxes, and save over 1,000 people by having that wall up. It broke it heart when he saw the wall, destroyed by some new invention called a cannon. After awhile he got over it, and did most of his building in side the kingdom inside of outside. When the knowledge of islands got out, Jenxas was chosen to go, for having good conditions; He had a lot of skill, was hard working, and had no family, so if he died, few would care. He didn't really know what it would feel like to be away from the kingdom; but he felt good about going.

Salden started out as a teen in the great war of the kingdoms, he quickly grew ranks and became a daring officer, he became quite famous, he led many wars of his kingdom to victory. some time while being officer, he was given the gift of a cutlass, embedded with the scales on a legendary dragon, Vigon, one of Visir's brothers. During the battle of Durn, the marksman Res (I keep changing his name xD) shot Salden's eye, Res thought he had shot through his head and presumed him to be dead, miraculously though, Salden survived. From then on he had an eyepatch, giving him the look of a pirate, though while in the hospital the king received news of the five islands and immediately sent Salden there, conveniently at the hospital at the time, he went by Captain Salden from then on.

Redia, (pronounced red-eye-uh) was trained at a very young age to be a fighter without even noticing. He is a very kind and peaceful man, but tries to hide it under his false anger, and tries his best to be nice to people in general, whether he is a filthy pirate, or a rich king. He always does his best, although he doesn't know quite how to act around women, his town didn't have many of them, and his mother died when he was at a young age. His father always told him to be calm and polite around them.

He was raised on a plum farm and was in charge of replanting the plum trees, he took his job literally and would lift full grown plum trees out of the ground for movement into better growing environments, and he always tried his best to please his father, and never could until he joined the expedition to Vuu...as a captain. He became captain, one day, when the king's guards spotted him lifting a small building for a young boy to get his pet out from under the building, at first they seized him, but then the king wanted him to work for him, so he had 2 choices, go to jail, or work for the king. How could he say no?

Jack grew up in the desert country of Stor. There is no government in Stor, and the only law is that, if you have money you make the laws. Jack was born in a small mining village, along with his little sister Alice. He was forced to work from dawn till dusk once he turned 5. It was about 1 week after he started working that he got in a fight. It was over who would mine in a certain spot that day. Despite being younger and outnumbered, Jack was able to fend of 2 teenage foxes with only a shovel for at least a minute. His leg was broken because of the fight but he still had to work the next day. For the next 4 years Jack got into numerous fights, and with only a shovel he would fend off various enemies. It wasn't until he was 9 that Jack had fought unnoticed. About 3 months after his ninth birthday that the owners of the mine came to "view their investment". It was that day they saw a nine year old fox fight 2 adult foxes, with just a shovel, and win. They mine owners knew they could make money off this boy, so they took him with him back to the capital of Stor, Slum Harbor. Jack never saw his sister again. Within the city was an arena where people would bet on fights to the death for entertainment and more money. For the next 7 years this would be Jack's home. He was forced to fight at least 3 times a week. He had to fight various opponents, and he made only one friend. That friends name was John. John was a bunny mage who had been sold into the arena by pirates. John taught Jack magic but the only magic Jack was able to learn was some weak fire magic. Jack treated John like a brother and one day he was just gone. Jack learned that John had escaped using his magic. He felt betrayed. The man he held with so much regard that he was like family, broke out and left him. Within that month Jack planned an escape. By faking his death in an easy fight, Jack was taken out of the arena and into the desert where the rest of the dead was taken. He had escaped and managed to find a small town off the map. He spent about 8 months in this town before managing to 'procure' a dingy and head out to sea finally free from the land that had used him as entertainment. The only thing he had regretted was never going to find his sister. It wasn't long before he landed on a foreign island.

And that is where his story begins. Now you all know his tortured past.

Frank's story:
He used to live on Prein, though he got tired of the fight and decided to head out to the islands he heard about. He was a carpenter and earned enough money to go on a ship. The ship was not very good, but good enough to take him there. On the way there it was caught it a storm, the storm left Frank only with a small rowboat, he managed to get to Durnam.

[The Tales of Cristel Jineman]

Cecillia Jineman was a girl born into the Jineman family of Aroudon. Her father, Daffnen Jineman was a prominent officer in the Arouden military. Cristel grew up well, although she suffered the loss of her mother at the age of 7, when her mother died due to pneumonia.

Cecillia grew up to be a bright girl, and she was raised well. Whether it was because due to the early loss of her mother or because her father was a military officer, Cecillia grew up to be a tomboy. She learned and excelled in swordplay, while she also enjoyed learning military tactics from her father as well. She had also excelled in her studies, also loving reading and learning, to the delight of those around her. Because of her excellence in her studies, Cecillial was also taught basic magic, but it seemed that Cecillia lacked the potential at magic, unable to move on from making small flames.

Cecillia grew up to be a bright girl until the age of 12, when her life was ravaged with tragedy. On that year, her father had been accused of treason and had recieved the death sentence from the emperor. His family had been granted amnesty but it was just as horrible. With her father being excecuted, the family's fortune was taken by the emperor, saying that "it was bestowed upon him by his majesty, and it shall be his majesty that shall take it when his term was due." The only relic she recieved as her inheritance was her blade The child, now without parents, was also ridiculed and persecuted by her neighbours and soilders. Cecillia in a great loss left her hometown to find another future for herself, but mostly to escape the memories of that day and her neighbours.

Cecillia traveled around, trying to survive in one way or another, but she couldn't. She was too young, and her name as well as her story was already spread far as rumours and nobody wanted to take her in. She slowly depleted the little money that was left to her.

Then one day, when Cecillia had finally fainted due to starvation, stress and exhaustion, she was found on the ground by a boy who was part of a small mercenary group. Although she was in a state of depression, the group cared for her and she re-gained her strength again, and during that time, changed her name to Cristel Jineman. Although the group was to leave her after she was cared for, she had joined the mercenaries as they were impressed at her excellent skill in swordplay and since then she was part of that mercenary band.

Cristel travelled as a mercenary for a few years, and she became famous, gaining the title "Iceflower" by the people. After she had spent 5 years as a mercenary, she then vanished. She quit being a mercenary and rumours about her said that she suddenly dissapeared.

In truth, Cristel had joined an association of mages, and was learning magic once again, this time being mentored by a woman who was coincidentally named Cecillia. Her time there is still not clear, as she lived a much quieter life than before.

But after two years, even her stay there was disrupted. The association she was in, apparently reached some kind of magical goal, and for some reason, most of the mages had gone mad. They went around ravaging the local villages, although in a few weeks, many of them had died due to them killing themselves or the locals murdering them. Still, this incident created a "witchhunt" among the commoners, making them going around and killing all mages that they could find. Cristel was not safe from this. She was personally captured by Captain Morgant and was to be sent off to a faraway ocean and be thrown into the sea there, leaving her to drown, although the reason for this is unclear.

What happened next is still foggy, except that she had landed on the cliffs of Hemil, and that she has been living there for the few days.

((This isn't all, but it's basically her story. I intentionally left out some parts, and there are a LOT of things that you have to go over several times. Such as why she was called the "Iceflower". But that all will be revealed in due time, don't worry.))

*An explanation of Cristel's magic.

The magic Cristel uses is a strange one, and is peculiar from most magic. In any case, Cristel is able to "manipulate" heat and moisture in many ways and forms. For heat, she can control the movement of energy from one particle to another, and for moisture, she can move the H2O particles as she wishes.

Now the thing is, Cristel controls heat, not fire and that makes a clear difference. Fire is a result caused by heat but not heat itself, so having heat is much more versatile. Also, in heat, since there is a finite amount of energy that exists in the world, Cristel can't "make" heat. She just grabs heat energy from one place to another and puts it there. This makes it easier for her to use her heat ability in hot places, by the way. Also, a side effect of her magic is always that whenever she heats one thing up, another thing is bound to get cold.

Her costs for using this power varies, mostly on the intensity, the volume, and the shape. The first two is obvious. For the latter one, it is easier for Cristel to make a line segment of fire, rather than a sphere, because a line segment has a larger surface area to volume ratio, making it easier to draw heat into one place.

I'm not sure if you get it or not, but I hope you do. So in this way, it's ridiculously easy for her to create a few flames her and there, but neigh impossible for her to burn an entire forest down in an instant, as that means she would have to grab heat energy from kilometres away and bring it to the forest.

Kyuu was born as the prodigy son of the king, he was intelligent, skilled , and had great charisma. Some would say he was born with great gifts; however he would say other wise. 5 years after his birth he really started to get curious about how things worked, he started inventing things; however when his father found out he was ordered into exile for practicing witchcraft. Soon after Kyuu was banished a great plague struck his land and his father's kingdom collapsed.

Tah's Story

Not much is know about this man. Not even he can remember what happend most of his life. But there is one thing he does remember, how he got his scar. Its very unsettling how he got this, so thats why he never told and will never tell anyone about it. Only he and the man who gave it to him know what happened. He suddenly found himself on a dingy one day, drifting from island to island. He has very bad luck with things.

Oceans Story
Ocean was born in the country of Reidan, not to get confused with Raiden. She grew up there in a small farmers family and at a very young age everyone found that she seemed to be the most beautiful thing in the world. When she hit her teens men and boys or all ages seemed to flock around her. She usually got her way with everything learning to be very flirty (some say she could walk in a bank, flirt a little with the owner, and walk out with 50 gold pieces within 10 minutes. Though she never actually did this. She would get all sorts of things for free though.)

She always urged for adventure, so one day she took a chance and signed up for a expedition crew to explore a near by island, her parents got mad at her because an expedition crew wasn't a thing a girl usually did. The island was a decent sized island but big enough to be put onto a map. While they were there the leader of the expedition died from a horrible snake bite. She immediatly took up the leading role. The men of the crew gladly did whatever she said (because who would argue with such a smart and beautiful girl as she was, who was ready to take charge of a large group of men?).

When they got back to the kingdom, the king immediatly heard of her (though he already knew her for her beauty) and what she had done. He promoted her to leader of all the expeditions. She happily took the role and went on a few expeditions. She heard about a new group of islands to the east and set off to explore them.

Lieutenant Nalh Ray

Nalh Ray was born into a Cerian Military Family. His mother died at childbirth. His father, Remil Ray was an expert herbologist, capable of making helpful or harmful potions easily. His father was well known for the quick victory in the third battle against the country of Raiden, due to his poison killing off half of a battalion. Though this fame was what caused his father targeted and killed in the fifth battle, leaving Nalh to be orphaned at the age of nine.
His uncle, Noal Wright took him in and enrolled him in a military institution at the age of ten. Nalh was trained well and hard due to his father’s fame and his own expectations. He was well versed in the use of herbs due to his father’s teachings, and he soon become well with a blade. By the age of fourteen he joined the military and was involved in the twelfth and fifteenth battles.
It wasn’t until he was sixteen that he received the rank of Lieutenant after his quick thinking won the nineteenth battle. Soon after he was called from the frontline by a summons from the king. He was given a new mission to travel to the new islands and claim some land in the name of Ceri. So with a small crew he set sail on the galley deemed, The Venture, to islands unknown.

Lulu

Lulu is a young girl, in her early teens who came from an average family. Her father owned a small plum farm, and her mother owned a hat shop in one of the near by towns. Her parents were very busy people, and usually didn't have time for their children. Lulu's favorite person in the world was her brother Rolo, she would spend all day with him playing games that little girls normally didn't play. Her brother had always dreamed of becoming a top notch assassin so that he'd be able to travel the world and make good money, so he started practicing in secret with some senbon that he saved up to buy. One day Lulu found her brother up practicing in the middle of the night, and she was fascinated. She begged her brother to let her play the new game, but for once he told her no because it was too dangerous. After being told no by her brother Lulu decided to play by her self she started studying anatomy and pressure points, after she learned all of the points on the body that could harm some one or heal them she started to target practice with her brothers senbon while he was asleep, she would show him that she was just as good as he was. When She thought that she was good enough to empress her brother she brought him out side and showed him. He was shocked she was better than he was, a lot better. He instantly offered to let her train with him in hopes that he'd learn how she got so good.

It had been a year sense the two had started training together and they were happy. One day their father came home drunk, The growing season had been bad and he barely sold a single plum. He immediately blamed his son for not helping him out in the fields and proceeded to beat him. In their father's drunken state he beat Rolo to death. Lulu was horrified, her favorite person in the whole world died just like that. Then after her father was done beating her brother he turned his eyes on her, she slowly crawled backwards toward the wall trying desperately to get away. Then she felt some thing it was a pack of her brothers senbon, She acted without thinking and threw the senbon strait in her dad through as he made a lunge at her.

She was scared, her mother would be home any moment and both her brother and father were dead, so she did the only thing she could think of she ran, she ran as fast as her legs would take her. Months past and she grew weak, having barely any food and no shelter her body had grown fatigued. That was when he showed up, her savior, her new brother Kyuu.

After being banished from his own country Kyuu traveled the world for a bit, eventually he made his way to the Arduon kingdom. The king found out about him and was extremely exited about his intellect. The king ordered Kyuu to design weapons for his kingdom in hopes of gaining a superior army. At first Kyuu was happy to have some one interested in his inventions and worked for the king without hesitation. Kyuu soon learned that the king was just using him to cause blood shed. After figuring this out Kyuu Left the Kingdom in secret, and the King put a bounty on Kyuu's head. 100,000 pieces of gold for Kyuu to be brought back alive.

Renaldo's Backstory:
Renaldo was born in the country of the Arduon Empire and was raised by his mother and his older brother, but he never wanted to be a farmer. He had always wanted to be a soldier in the Arduon army, ever since he saw the soldiers march past his village. So he ran away from home and to the Arduon capital. He then lied about his age to get in the army. Of course they let him in, because they needed more pandas to fight for them. After almost every battle he would be the one with the least amount of injuries. But, not because he was in the back, but because he knew how to fight. He had great leaders and trainers. He soon ranked up to become a field commander. His armor was given to him personally by the Arduon leader. His last known area was by Jersun, when he and his fleet was sent to upon hearing that there was a Cerian compound there. End of Report
Not known to the military though, was that he was found by a man that was thought to be dead, Salden. After he had been found he had lied about his position in the army. He was actually on the lead ship and was commanding it.

Fenaris, Carsy, and Jerle have pretty much the same story. They all lived in a small village and were the greatest of friends. Then an army of a country they don't know of ((they're kids they don't know this stuff)) raided their town and killed everyone. Fenaris and his friends are the only ones that escaped with their lives. They then tried the beggars lifestyle and almost starved to death. They then became thieves and flourished. They were huge in the underground and started working for some crime lords until Fenaris tried to steal from them. They ran from their pursuers and onto a colonization ship headed for the new islands.

Jaxx was always the curious one. He dreamed of a land rich with fruit trees and gold mines. One day, his brother asked him if he wanted to leave, and so the two worked together and built a sturdy raft... Far out in the ocean, they spotted land. Their cheery attitudes dropped as they saw a huge dark cloud approaching, then the rain poured, and thunder sounded. Lightning flashed, Jaxx's brother tumbled into the water, and when Jaxx woke, he was nowhere to be seen.

Jaxx never reached the land they'd seen, but climbed back on the raft and set out. The area reminded him too much of his brother.

Saraiah's Story:

Saraiah grew up around a bunch of brothers who we're all very skilled archers. Her mother, who had been a powerful magician died when Saraiah was very little so she has no memory of her. She learned to fight through her brothers and father and became a skilled archer. She also inherited her mothers ability to control the wind, but isn't very skilled at it. She uses a little marble to help control her wind power but seeing as she doesn't know how powerful she is just yet, she tends to do much more damage than she realizes. This is precisely the reason she has ended up where she is. Practicing her wind power, she managed to create a wind that transported her across the sea to an island that is unfamiliar to her. This is where she currently resides.

Sen's story...
Sen lived in a tribe... he was the fastest in his tribe, every noon,day, and night, he practiced his daggers and traveling skills, and when day turned to sunset and night turns to midnight... that is the only time he could stop, because in case there was a ambush, he would be ready, one day though, there was an ambush! He was prepared for the worse already... so he was the luckiest of all... he ran off into the night... swiftly and quietly... apparently he was the last left... unless his sister ran off too... he didn't know... he felt bad he didn't stay... to fight... he ran to the sea, he than saw a strange, but beautiful cat... he came to her... apparently the night before the same thing happened to her tribe... together they chopped down trees to make a raft, after a week, they finally did, it sailed fine, into the open sea they said, till a storm came... the cat feel off. But Sen didn't... he was sad... the cat he got to meet well... she was like him... exactly like him... he loved her and she loved him... he passed out during the storm because of the waves making him dizzy... he doesn't know where she is, or if she is dead... he doesn't have much memory of what happened after that... all he knows is that he got off at an unknown island and got picked up by a ship... after many days of forging and practicing ((the bio says the rest about what happened))
