I currently don't have time to throw one together so I wanted to ask if anyone would make a quick and simple guide on how to take screen shots. I don't really enjoy telling people one at a time on the chat after they tell me people keep swearing at them in private. If no one is available to do this then I can make one over the next few days (more likely this weekend).

On the keybaord there's a button between f 12 and scroll lock that says print screen.

on the screen you MUST go to the thing you want to get, like scrolling up when in chat. When the desired target (for example, text) is in view of the screen, press print screen.

Go into paint and press paste, there, the whole section of what was shown in your screen will be shown, including the target.

then press save, name and press ok.


if this doesn't make sense - some one else can correct it.

2-Press Prt Scr/SysRq. It should be near F12 and above Backspace.
3-Go to Paint. I ain't telling where that is, find it yourself.
4-Click Edit and press Paste.
5-Save it, Photobucket or whatever it, link it, and I think, Voila, you got yourself a screenie.

Print screen, ctrl v into MS paint (make sure to crop it so it's smaller), save and upload. Not really hard, as Kittens pointed out, and the others described in better detail.
