A reminder to us all, mods CANNOT do anything they want without reason. So I suggest to all of the chat room mods, following PikachuKMT's demotion especially, to do your job properly. We are there to enforce the rules, not kick and ban people for fun/no reason/because we are in a bad mood. I am still in contact with Rose and I don't want to be bothering her about having to come and enforce the rules in the chat room.

However, since the screen shots can't accurately say what happened, since when you ban someone their posts also go, we can't say for sure if you did in fact say anything more. And from what I saw when I was there (I am such a lurker) you weren't being the most likeable person in the chat room. If you want to come back and troll the chat room, feel free, but don't complain when you are kicked and banned for it.

From what I hear trolling is exactly what you have been doing. Still, this is a reminder to the mods to do our jobs properly.

1Samurai1 is not the most mature of our members and is prone to break the rules, so I can imagine that he might have provoked the ban. But there is no reason for any moderator to descend to that immature level, and banning someone "for shizz and giggles" is exactly that.

Imagine if we did that here on the forums. Not many would find it amusing, I suppose.

It doesn't matter who's "side" anyone is on, or even who is right or wrong here.
"Shizz and Giggles" is never really a reason to ban anyone. Leave it blank or type a proper reason for punitive action.

I am sorry. But I see the pictures. And from what I see, I see a mod abusing their rights. Not following explicit procedures.
For any who know my punitive actions, I usually end situations as quick as I can to avoid further incident while giving repeated, clear and ample warnings. Which most people listen to by the way.

In other words, this was the wrong thing to do. If someone is bothering you in a PM, you leave them alone. If it's in the main chat, you know the drill.

I can't say I'm the best moderator on the planet. (I'm not) Actually I'm still learning. But drama is incredibly boring to me and I have no tolerance for it. This is an example of what NOT to do on the chat.
