Pirate Bunnis

I heard that Pirate Bunnis are supposed to drop from trees, but I haven't gotten any yet. Do they drop from a specific kind? How often do they drop? Does the number of statues you have on your island effect what items the trees drop and how often they drop items?

I believe it is luck, though I must personally say that I have seen lots of pirates from mainly pear trees and no units at all from plum trees.

I doubt that it has anything to do with the actual odds though.

It's all luck, it can drop from any sort of tree. Statues do not affect it. In my first glitched game, I had 5 pirates, but in my 2nd glitch free game I have none :(

I got one from a plum tree so it seems that it can be any tree.

I got mine from a pear tree but i only found 1 about 3 motes from end of game.
also, i got it just after i built a monument thing
