Hello people of this forum, welcome to yet another RP.

Intro:
Legends talk of the Sierra Madre casino, which is said to hold a legendary treasure. On the day the casino was supposed to open, it disappeared, taking its residents with it. The city froze in time, and the casino's defences locked the place down tight. No one could enter or leave. Eventually, a hazardous toxin fell over the city, leading many people to their deaths. Only the mysterious Ghost People survived, trapped in what appear to be hazmat suits, never talking to their victims, only dragging them away to the heart of the city.


The Sierra Madre Grand Opening awaits... and has been for 200 years.

This rp takes place in the spanish-themed Sierra Madre city and casino. It is inspired by the Fallout: New Vegas addon Dead Money.

The rp is simple, follow Father Elijah's instructions, or he will detonate your explosive collar, killing you. If you decide to get greedy and kill another person, EVERYONE's collar will go off. You must choose a path to go down in the beginning. there are 6 paths.

Defender: People who are able to use weapons effectively, every other path has a weapon penalty.
Medic: Heals and buffs players defensively.
Tech Expert: can hack terminals and repair things.
Support:can buff players offensively, and has auras that buff people in an area.
Thief: Extremely agile, and can activate a stealth field that improves sneaking.
Berserker: extremely strong, doesn't use normal weapons. Can move heavy objects and use the surrounding as a weapon

After a certain ammount of progress has been made, players will be able to choose a new perk. Also, players will be able to choose a starting perk at the begining. Also, watch out of radios. If you come near a radio, your collar will beep. If you stand near a radio too long, you go boom.

Here are the starter perks for each path. Each time you can choose a new perk, there will be the 2 old perks and a new perk.
Defender:
Deadly strength: allows you to hit harder with melee weapons.
Strong Back: can carry more weight.
Gun Tech: more accurate with guns
Medic:
Experienced Doctor: your medkits heal for more than normal.
Improved Buffs: makes your defense buff last longer than normal.
Not Totally Defenseless: Allows the medic to use pistols effectively.
Tech Expert:
Improved Hacking: you hack faster.
Jury Rigger: Can use junk to replace repair parts.
Dampening: Your group's collar beeps slower when near a radio.
Support:
Offensive Aura 1: improve's your group's offensive capabilities
Defensive Aura 1: improve's your group's defensive capabilities
Speed Aura 1: your group moves faster.
Thief:
Ninja: your footsteps make no noise while in the steath field
Illegal Upgrades: your steath field has been upgraded so it can now stealth another person, but that person does not benefit from ninja if you have that perk.
Vital Shot: you hit a critical hit the first time you hit something in stealth
Berserker:
Nerd Rage: gains a boost of strength if health becomes around below half.
Beach Hunk: you can throw objects further
How do I use this?: can use heavy weapons such as a missle launcher or minigun.

Path Specific Skills:
Defender:
Trigger Happy:can shoot bullets at twice the speed for 20s
Bonk: whacks the enemy harder than normal
Medic:
Med Kit: heals a person 50% (experienced doctor: 75%)
Med-x: numbs pain for 15s(improved buffs: 30s)
Tech Expert:
Boom, headshot: Attemts to go for a headshot, with 25% chance, dealing an instant kill on lower leveled enemies.
Map: Has a 3d digital map that they can check. If you don't have a tech expert, getting around will be alot harder.
Support:
Can have up to 2 active auras.
Thief:
Steath field: become near invisible.
Pickpocket: can sneak up behind enemies and loot whatever's in their pocket.
Berserker:
Flail: the berserker sticks their arms out and spins wildly, damage is affected by what weapons are wielded, but the berserker is dazed for 10 seconds afterward.
Dangerousy Outnumbered: gains a boost to strength and speed when outnumbered and low on health.

There are a bunch of weapon categories.
Pistols
Revolvers/magnums
SMGs
Rifles(bolt action etc)
Machine guns
Sniper Rifles
Heavy weapons

Every path can use melee weapons.

Defenders can use any weapons but heavy weapons.
Medics can use only melee weapons.
Tech Expert can use sniper rifles and pistols
Support can use pistols up to SMGs
Thiefs can use revolvers/magnums and pistols
Berserkers can use heavy weapons

Rules:
No godmodding, metagaming, cheating etc
If one person purposely tries to sabotage a group, that person will be killed and not allowed to come back at a checkpoint.
Theres no way to remove the collars
Follow Father Elijah's intructions, or face death.
You do not start with a weapon, so it would be wise to find a means of defence before continuing.

Brief History: As a young girl, Ginger lived in Goodsprings, as she was born there. The town was full of Criminals Killers and Weird Creatures. Everyone in the town was armed because of these things, she was scared of everything in her childhood, Killer "Geckos." watching people die and more. As she grew up, she became a hunter, to kill the creatures that scared her and the people that shouldn't be alive. Used to hiding she was, a sneaky person she grew up as from hiding from the creatures, she also was great are killing them because she had great Stealth

Brief History: She was born in Goodsprings too, yet she was held at the quarry, to help them, she killed many things there, healed some of their animals, but barely did it. Her whole life was that, but she had chances to see her sister.

History: Was sent to a charter school to study medicine until some moronic kid decided it would be funny to mix chemicals...huge explosion, glass fell and cut all across her arm. She got stitches but they were permanent. Spent next two years studying medicine and developed some useful techniques.

Bio: Alona is a lone wolf, and is known for being in Bad Girl Gangs and Smuggling. Oh no, those are all wrong and rumors. She lives a decent life, eating, sleeping, killing. All regular. Although she is just regular, alot of bad rumors spread about her since she lives in a ghetto and terrible city. Thus, is wanted, and due to this, she is a reject to society, making her not want to talk at all. If she does talk, it'll be in a feeble voice.
