"Hmm, you'll regret being a servant when you lay on your death bed." The cat said. He got up and walked away to get a drink.

With the settlement up and going, Zappel decided to appoint 2 runners. 1 to bring the lumen to the ardoun mine and the other to take the Vuu lumen back to Vuu or whatever Kyuu asked of it. Then zappel decided to head back to Vuu.

Myles wandered off to explore the rest of the settlement. He wandered aimlessly for a few hours & made his way out back to the forest to collect herbs, which is what he was doing before he was took into that base (or whatever it is).

A fox appeared from the trees, stepping up to Myles at a walking pace as to not alarm him. "Hello, my name is Ane." The man said, with a smile. A knife glinted from his back pocket with bits of thread from a rope left from them, and a bit of blood.

"Could you be of some assistance and point me to the direction of the shore? I've seemed to have lost my sense of direction. Oh, and you seem to not recognize me. I head the base camp on this island. You do work there correct?" The man said, taking a few slow steps closer to Myles as he spoke.

"oh, no sir, I am not of any sort of occupation as of yet." Myles was completely oblivious to the shadiness of this rabbit, too caught up with trying to be polite. "The shore is to the... I'm not sure, sir. If you don't mind I'll lead you there." Myles started for the shores, completely & blissfully unaware of this strangely friendly rabbit who happened to have a bloodied knife.

Ane let a smile come across his face, "How kind of you." He threw the knife behind a bush as Myle's turned his back. "I'm worried I cannot man a ship myself, how would you like a free ride somewhere? This place must be getting boring. Yes?" Ane said, with true sincerity at heart. The fox knew he needed another to help him man the ship.

((Sorry, I accidentally said he was a rabbit when he was a fox xD))

"Oh, sir you are too kind!" He had actually gotten bored of this island. He wanted a more exiting life; he wanted to travel, to explore, and to a lesser extent, to fight. "Okay then, I'll join you!" Myles smiled in his usual smile, sparkling in his usual sparkly way, his wings fluttering in their usual, um, fluttery way. His walk sped up into a skip, obviously in high spirits.

The two neared the ship and Ane smirked, they had not moved it from its place. Not a single soul was in sight. "It seems the docks are abandoned today, I guess no one shall be saying good bye to us." Ane said, stepping aboard his ship. The ship was a corvette (No not the car, THIS (http://www.thepirateking.com/images/ships_corvette.jpg) is a corvette, though more of you might know the term sloop, this is in ways a sloop-of-war), smaller than a frigate though more versatile and maneuverable. The ship represented a fox's fighting style in ways.

Myles stared at the corvette in awe for a moment before realising that the fox had already boarded the ship. He hurriedly ran after him, almost tripping over a plank. It looked even cooler up close. "Sugoi...." ( for those who don't know, it means amazing. Fan fact lol : houkounin means servant) His ears twitched as he heard the waves brushing against the boat, the sails flapping in the wind; it felt as if he was already sailing.

Ane let out a small smile when he saw that Myles had really boarded his ship. "Enjoying it aren't you?" Ane walked across the deck as his feet pattered on the wooden deck. Walking to the anchor, Ane pulled it up. He threw the anchor onto the deck and a spray of water spread across the wooden planks along with a bit of seaweed. "Mop that up." Ane said, picking up a broom that was leaning against the mast and threw it over at Myles, hoping he'd catch it.

Myles caught the broom with pin point precision (somehow) & ran over to the anchor, cleaning the mess right away. He finished quickly & pulled a cloth out of his briefcase. He had gotten carried away and started cleaning the anchor itself, then went into a frenzy & decided to make sure that the ship was even cleaner & sparklier than himself (because he is very very sparkly). Surprisingly, he didn't slip once, despite how often he falls over the tiniest thing & that he'd polished the floors numerous times.

(watch out, Ane, Myles is cleaning. You won't like him when he's cleaning. lol)

Ane raised a brow and shrugged. He walked over to the mast and raised the sails. The ship began heading out to bay as a mass of wind blew against the sails propelling the ship onwards. Water broke at the front of the ship and went around it, though some water sprayed upwards in a magnificent show. Taking to the wheel, Ane simply pointed the ship in the direction out of the bay, for he was not sure where his destination was yet. "You don't have to clean everything." Ane said yelling back.

Myles froze, noticing that he had gotten carried away with cleaning. He yelled back
"S-Sorry! I had gotten slightly carried away!" (um, yes, slightly) The cat jumped up from the floor,waiting for some sort of order.

The mining town of Vuu on Befin did quite well over the years. They found a nearly inexhaustible supply of lumen and also discovered it loses it's luminosity over a course of 6 months. They also had upgraded the town and had some farms growing out side to support the town. Some miners even found other minerals, such as copper and tin, which the can make into bronze and make better pick axes.

"Nyuuuuuuu." Lady was washed up from shore. Her favorite maid outfit: Wet. "Oh dangit. Well, at least I have a change of clothes of my mom's geisha outfit." Lady hid behind a tree and started changing her clothes. She headed out of the tree, and saw a gate and some guards.

The little girl wondered to herself, "Are they bad people?" She started tapping her chin. Lady had to find out. She headed to the closest guard, and said, "Hi!"

The panda let out a grunt, "Go away kid."

[Lovelight]

"Why?" Lady asked. She put her hand on one of her swords.

[Mkishere]

"Go to your mommy or daddy, this is a military base. You might get hurt." The panda said, he turned away.

[Lovelight]

"My mommy and daddy is dead." Lady said. "Please don't remind me of them. And I want to fight, too!" She grinned.

[Mkishere]

"There's not much to fight." The panda said, leaning against the wall. His big belly heaved up and down as he snored off to sleep.

[Lovelight]

Lady face palmed. She looked up, and her eyes lit up. The little girl was amazed by the gates, buildings, and defenses. She didn't want to interrupt the fat panda, so she asked a bunny soldier, "Did all of you guys make all of that?" Her eyes her sparkling.

"About six years ago. Who are you kid?" The rabbit asked, leaning against the gate.

[Lovelight]

Lady jumped. She bowed. "I-I'm sorry! I should've introduced myself first!" Lady started bowing multiple times. Then she stopped. "My name is Lady. And I'm 9 years old! I'm also a sword user."

[Mkishere]

"I see, a bit too young to be out here alone aren't you?" The rabbit said, smiling at the child.

[Lovelight]

"I... guess so." Lady looked around. "So do you just stand here?" The little child asked.

[Mkishere]

"Kinda boring isn't it? We watch out for pirates and such." The man squinted at the horizon. "What the--" A figure was flying in the skies.

[Lovelight]

"OH COOL!" Lady stared at the figure. "Is that a flying man?" She REALLY wanted to know what it was. Lady took out both of her swords, just in case it was an enemy.

[Mkishere]

"That's a bloody dragon!" The rabbit said, he grabbed his bow and ran back into the fort, the panda stayed asleep.

[Lovelight]

Lady heard of dragons. "That might be a good dragon though!" She yelled. "Don't kill it!" She didn't like to see good animals dying.

[Mkishere]

"Good dragons? Dragons are destructive!" The rabbit said. He jumped up the wall and readied his bow.

[Lovelight]

"I guess so.." Lady needed to wake the panda up. She had to do this once and for all, she shoe'd the panda in the nads. "Wakey wakey, the big fire breathing beast that is fwying is hewwweee!"

( I decided that Myles somehow manages to build a boat that doesn't get smashed right away... it gets smashed close to Befin. Of course, he somehow manages to get washed ashore. ) Myles sat patiently, staring at the tiny fire which he started after spending hours after hours collecting up his things. As he was watching it, he was wondering why he even started one in the middle of the day, suddenly remembering that he wanted to cook something. Pulling up his trouser legs, the cat carefully trod in the water, ankle deep. Spending a few minutes trying to catch fish, he sensed something... A strange sensation it had been, his body feeling bizarrely warm. Trying to recollect his memories, he remembered what it was; Those 2 years ago, he felt the same sensation when close to Visir. Stirring around, scanning the sky for some indication of a dragon, the warmth he felt getting hotter worryingly fast. Myles found a small figure in the skies, most obviously that of a dragon. "I-I have to tell somebody..." His voice was full of worry, but not for himself; for the few people of the island. He saw the military base, and instantly dashed for it. "I'm sure they've spotted it... I-I should help somehow..."

The gray dragon fumed fire from it's mouth among the front walls, instantly causing an inferno to envelope the front line archers. They screamed, falling off the walls catching others on fire. An archer daringly shot an arrow at the dragon as he was engulfed in fire, laying on the ground. The arrow was harmlessly blown away by the beating of the dragon's wings.

Just like that, ten lives were taken, burnt to a crisp. Crashing into the wall with its claws the dragon roared in the face of a panda. "What quarrels do you have with us?" The panda asked, holding up his shield.

The dragon bellowed out a laugh, "You'll serve us."

Myles somehow managed to dodge any stray flames, the worst that happened to him was his suitcase was slightly singed. Once reaching the gate of the military base, panting crazily, he started pounding the giant doors as hard as he could. His head started to hurt, his fairy gem starting to show signs of cracking again "n-no... don't crack again." The young cat's head was throbbing with pain, barely on the verge of collapsing.

[Lovelight]

Lady grinned. "Bite me." She readied her swords, prepared for a fight.

[Mkishere]

The dragon ignored the little girl, he actually couldn't hear her. He flew up into the air and came straight down upon the middle of the base.

[Lovelight]

Lady stomped her foot. She didn't like being ignored, without thinking, she yelled out, "HEY YOU OLD DRAGON! STOP BEING A FIRE-BREATHING WIMP AND FIGHT ME!!" Lady noticed what she said, she had no turning back now.

[Mkishere]

The dragon crashed down on a building, once again ignoring the girl. It fumed out smoke from its nostrils, "Tell your leader that a new age is coming. This is a simple warning, many more will die if you do not bow down to the dragons." It said, to the one in charge of the base. "Good bye." The dragon swooped up into the air. A mess was left behind, buildings were on fire and many were injured.

[Lovelight]

Lady was pissed. "Friggin... ugh. Whatever." She said. Lady looked at the fallen and injured soldiers. She found the rabbit soldier that talked to her recently. Lady ran to it and asked, "How do dragons talk?"

[Mkishere]

The rabbit was dead, burnt to a crisp. He could not answer.

[Lovelight]

Lady's face dimmed. She said nothing. Lady gritted her teeth. The little girl went over to a soldier and said in tears, "TRAIN ME! I WANT TO PROTECT OTHERS! I WANT TO BEAT UP THOSE BAD DRAGONS!!!!!" Lady cried in tears.

[Mkishere]

The soldier looked over at the crying girl. "Eh?" He didn't have time. He ran over to a nearby well and started throwing water at a house on fire.

[Lovelight]

Lady fell down on her knees. She was being ignored; by adults! The child didn't like that place. She decided to go off to another place, by wandering around the ocean. Lady found some big sticks, she picked them up, tied them together with a rope, took another big stick. The girl took her maid suit; it was dry. She wore it, and set the raft on shore.

"Goodbye, whatever island you are, I'll probably visit you later." Lady picked up the big stick, and started rowing away from shore.

(Time to go to the sea thread.)

Myles stared at the ruins from the huge gaping hole that had been left in the gate once the dragon attacked. His breathing became heavy & hoarse, his vision beginning to fade.
"F-fever... Abnormal temperatures...symptoms... Ugh, h-how should I know what it is... I-I'm not even trained in the medical profession..." He coughed up blood, obviously meaning that it wasn't an average ailment. He fell weakly, forced to follow the dragon in a more... Natural way. "That dragon must be the cause... I felt fine before it came along..." It was strange, how he hadn't felt like this when he had his close encounter with Visir. Myles was gasping for energy, trying to ensure that he didn't collapse from fatigue.

( Since he's slightly older, he's becoming more sensitive when close to a dragon. The crystal isn't the only thing that's passed through his family ).

[Mkishere]

(So he can die from simply being around a dragon?)

A rabbit came and put a hand on Myle's shoulder, "You okay?"

Myles looked at the rabbit drearily, and without saying anything, he just coughed up more blood. "I-I'm f-fine... I think I'm j-j-just ill..." He smiled weakly, and even his sparkles seemed a little bit dull (the magical sparkles of sparkle-ness are not happy D: ). Without any sort of warning, those wings that reverted back to a gem a year ago had reformed. Turning back to the dragon's resting area, he continued pawing along.

(He can't die, but he does get extremely... Weak. Maybe slightly delusional from the fevers he has.)

"No no, come here." The man grabbed Myles and picked him up, "We're going to heal you." He said.

His vision blurred incredibly, and soon fainted. (short post is short, indeed?)

((Indeed xD, I said the dragon went into the air but disclosed where he went xD Because I didn't want to say.))

The rabbits at the medic tents tended to Myles and in no time he was healed up, draped in blankets laying on a nice and warm bed.

He awoke hours later in a daze with a pounding headache. Looking around the room, he assumed that it was inside that military base. His fever seemed to have passed, and he stopped coughing up blood, but he couldn't seem to get up. Based on the events which had just happened, Myles seemed to be unable to move from post-fever effects. The most confusing thing about this is why it had happened; He had even been close to some sites where dragons had once been, which made him feel that sensation numerous times, but never before had he had such an effect from anything. "Results... A-are there any test results? Did you run any blood test or anything of the like?" Myles murmured to a nearby doctor.

[Mkishere]

The medic raised a brow, "Hmm? We simply healed you. Now, what caused this damage?" The rabbit said, walking over to the side of Myle's bed, "Your injuries seem more internal than external, different from the others."

[shinjumaou]

"..." He lay there thinking, his wings spread out on the bed. "Do you know why these wings came back? They seem to be a... Symptom..." Myles' ear twitched, and he sighed, wondering how so many bad things started happening all at once.

[Mkishere]

The medic looked at the wings, "Hmm, quite odd. They're not much of a use, morely a dead attachment on your back in the form of wings. . . They most probably cannot support your flight as you are no bird. . ." The medic moved to the other side of the bed. "Though it could be in reaction to all the chaos, or quite possibly the dragon."

Myles sat up in bed, and felt his chest. There were bandage over it & his shirt was gone... "Excuse me, sir, where might my shirt & coat be?"

[Mkishere]

The man looked to the left of him, "I'm not sure but I'll look for it now." He stepped out of the room. A few minutes later the medic came back into the tent and handed Myles his shirt and coat.

"Thank you" He smiled in his usual way, sparkling his 'bishie' sparkles. He took his belongings & slipped on the shirt & coat. Myles stood up. His back was killing him, metaphorically speaking, so he must've been asleep for a while; a few hours at least, a few hours most likely. He whipped open his suitcase & started too brew some tea with the herbs he had previously collected, which was varied & plentiful. After a few minutes he managed to make some herbal tea, even though it would probably taken the time to make the entire tea to mix the herbs. He held out a cup to the doctor "would you like some, sir? As a small token of gratitude at the most."

[Mkishere]

The medic stared at the sea, then after a while took it. "Thank you." He stepped over to a chair next to the bed and began to drink it. "Though, you are free to leave. You really had no real physical harm anymore. Are you a worker at the Befin Fort?"

"No sir. I am travelling to be able to serve. I came from a rich family from this island before the previous lodgings had been destroyed." Myles sipped his tea, pausing for a moment to analyse the flavours. "sweet..." His face lit up at thought of one day making a better tea. "I currently have no official occupation..."

[Mkishere]

"Hmm, I think you should get one now that the dragons are on the rise. It'd be hard to make a living in a time of war." The medic said, cleaning off blood from a scalpel.

Myles looked out at the sea, starting to dream of adventures & friendlier creatures. "M-my crystal... The wings have some sort of energy over dragons... but all it does is break seals... of what I know, that is." He returned to his tea set, experimenting with herbs. He finished the brew in record time & tasted. "Bitter... Yet filling..." He took another sip, his ears twitching in the slightest. "I might try to part some information or help..." Staring kindly into the cup, sparkling faintly. "May I be of any assistance?" He turned to the medic and smiled wholeheartedly & playfully at him.

[Mkishere]

"Do you know how to fight?" The Medic queried, leaning against the bed.

From outside a soldier ran in, "There we dragons spotted on the horizon, I'm not sure where they're heading but they came from the direction of Arduon!" The soldier panted.

"If they come from Arduon then I fear that Arduon may have been attacked. Did they have any wounds?" The medic asked.

[shinjumaou]

"I-I can sort of fight... I have a good kick, And I know that tea can be useful when thrown at others... And my crystal may have something else useful." He was having a small thought of how once when somebody insulted his previous employer that he gave them a square roundhouse kick to the face. When the soldier burst in, he started to feel uneasy. When he said about the dragons heading this way, he tensed up. He did feel like he was burning up, but nothing more. Nothing serious, and it was really that he just felt slightly hotter... "I could try fighting too." He looked more confident. He stood up & turned to the soldier. "I know a few things about dragons, not to mention that my gem has a power to break dragon seals. I suspect that if it can break them, it might be able to create them too. Please let me help."

[Mkishere]

"Dragon seals? I think their fiery breathes are more dangerous though, it's worth a try. Now, if the rock turtle were to ever turn on us then you'd be the perfect adversary. What weapon do you prefer to use? Or do you have one of your own?" The Medic asked, the soldiers filed out of the tent to tell others.

[shinjumaou]

"I once gave somebody a hard kick to the face... they had to go to hospital for a few weeks... I can also use seemigly useless things in good ways... I mean, I can use scalding hot tea... But that'll probably be of no use against a dragon, soo... I'll need a weapon." Myles stared at where the dragon should be, feeling anger building up inside of him. Why do they want Befin so badly? It's just an island. One simple little island, one that was fine until they destroyed god knows how much. "Dragons... I just hope I can handle them... Or can they handle me?" Myles got confused " Which handles which better?! cats or dragons?!"

(lol, the ending of the post almost looked as if it would be pretty awesome. But that's because he's just not serious enough of a person.)

"As cats play with mice as their food, dragons play with cats as their food. From the looks of it, they've changed course to Vuu. Though, we as allies of Vuu should head over and defend. What weapon do you need?" The medic asked.

[shinjumaou]

"..." A sweatdrop appeared on Myles' head. He'd hadn't any idea what he wanted. He mulled over it for a moment or two when he said " are there any spears, sir?"

[Mkishere]

"Of course, wait a moment." The medic stepped out of the tent, after a few moments he came back with a spear with a wooden handle and a beautiful iron tip.

Handing the spear to Myles, the medic spoke,"Will you accompany the troops we send to Vuu?"

[shinjumaou]

"I guess I should sir. I've already gotten a weapon. Thank you very much sir, I am very thankful" The cat bowed to the medic & walked outside to accompany the soldiers.

[Mkishere]

"Onto the ships!" Another fox yelled. He turned towards Myles. "Ship four, left most ship in the bay. Hurry up now, Vuu can't wait."

Myles clambered ran over to ship 4. It wasn't the most comfortable place on earth, seeming how there were so many there, but he didn't really mind, since he had different things on his mind.

The first ship took to the sea, followed by the second, the third, then finally the fourth. Their sails opened and their anchors were pulled, they set sail towards Vuu (Sea Thread)

Sscardom looked out across the vast ocean, as he sighted the little bit of land that was to be Befin. He sighed. His journey had been a long one. However, he had an apprehensive feeling, as if something was lurking in the waters of Befin.

He frowned. He thought he saw something in the waters, but he shrugged and shook his head. He saw that there were some ships anchored at a bay of some sort, and decided not to port there. Instead, he went around to the other side, and dropped anchor.
This is it, he thought. He pulled his rope out of his bag and started scaling the hard rock. It seemed impossible, but after an hour, he managed to get to the top. Sweat dripping, he collapsed in a heap on the top. It was much warmer in Stor, but he would get used to it. There seemed to be a sort of forest down near the base of a huge mountain. Caverns littered the side of the mountain. He decided he would set up his base there. Getting up, he trotted toward the mountain at a steady pace.

About 2 hours later...

Sscardom looked down at his stomach as it grumbled. He smiled. It was the humane sound he had heard in ages. The forest was a dense maze, filled with deadly creatures.
He was amazed he had survived.
