Frank after sometime, found a Desert Areen, and with lots of patience managed to make the animal obey slightly. He searched for a new place to mine.

We then disembarked on our journey east to the other side of the island. The trio of us: Ray, Tessa, and I both kept similar jobs. Ray would just stay there as company, Tessa will help me drive the ship, and I command them. The steady winds powered the mast as we lift off. As we rounded the first corner, I saw my miners working heavily to mine those rocks for us. I could even see Riida directing orders on his Desert Areen.

After hours, we finally pasted the mountains. Just at the opening between the mountain and forest. I saw what seemed to be a little cottage puffing up smoke for a brief time in the corner of my eyes. Then, the forest engulfed my view, and it disappeared as fast as I first saw it. I puzzled but continued on. After we saw this distant cliff, we evaded by moving further from the land. This time, I definitely saw a building. It was ran down and almost dismantled. It looked a inn.... I was sure there were other people in the bottom portion of the land now... I ordered us to carry on, and we came to the sight of an open beach. I told them to cross the corner and see if there were at all, any other buildings.

Next, we didn't found anything so we set down at a part of the beach which had a good opening from it's side to provide a mini-harbor. We broke out and locked the ship. I fed the tiny desert areen which I still have. (The two camels are used to carry the rocks from the outpost to the camp.) He was growing a lot recently, yet he doesn't have the good figure of an adult. He would need to grow more. I launched the traps and took the keys to my ship.

As we walked into what seems to be a forest. I came to the conclusion that this forest was evenly divided into three trees. To the west, lay the pine trees, in the middle, there was the elm trees, and to the east, I found out that it hold one of the best trees for ship making... Ironwood. I smiled at the thought; I sketched down every note I took. We decided to first move off to the Elm forest, move west to the frontier, and move straight east to the Ironwood. Just in the clearing... we saw another building... well... two. It was a school and a camp.. It was abandon some time now, yet the building was still in good shape.

"We'll camp out here for today, and continue our journey tomorrow." I told Tessa and Ray.

Rogar headed the construction of the camp which is now turning up as a settlement. Earlier today, he spotted two ships destine for here. It seemed the captain of the ship I sent has continued on with it's journey to Seiwan. These two ships hold Stor citizens who looked for more land and a new life. They were greeted; they settled down. They bought the houses and started getting their luggage in their new settlement. Rogar looked pleased and so was the other workers. The convoy men worked hard as the dragons themselves to built the foundation. For this time, all the builders, convoy men, miners, and captains all had a little celebration and a early night sleep.

Rogar walked to Riida and asked him, "So, what do you think of this progress so far?"

Liara had decided it was time to go look for Derkins. It had been another day and she was VERY worried about her bunny friend. She pulled on her cloak over her vest, got her dagger and sword, and brought her matches. She left the axe; she had no use for it. She tried to use her fox smell to find her friend.

Derkins was exhausted. He pushed himself on, towards the east, which he thought was west. He was beginning to thin out, lossing more bunny body weight then he was allowed to before he starved. He was getting a very high fever. He had the most horrible feeling in his back, legs, stomach, throat, and head. He traveled a few more miles, and collapsed, not knowing if he would wake up again or not...

Liara had decided it was time to settle down from working so hard and tried to make a fire. Since she had matches in her pocket, it wasn't hard to do. She sat up, thinking, "Where is Derkins? It was midday when he left. Now it's nighttime. I hope he comes back by morning."

Derkins wasn't going to be going back soon. He continued to walk, only stopping to look at where he was. He continued on.

Liara ran as fast as she could. She planned to find Derkins before morning, and to go to a town, not the desert!

Derkins was still passed out, his heart and lungs getting weaker and weaker. He was too ill to move, to hopeless for anyone to find. Liara was a long way away, and he was very sick. He continued to sleep, not waking up...

Frank had somehow ended up in the middle of the desert. All he remembered was that he was thirsty and drank some water from a cactus (after a long time of cutting off the needles and everything), but after that it seemed to be a blur. Thinking, The cactus must have had some poison in it or something, I must find help to get rid of my confuse

Liara had traveled for half a day now. She was exhausted, but very strong, so she went on. She had just hit the desert, but Derkins's smell had faded away from her weaker nose; she couldn't smell him. She continued off to the north.

Frank had been traveling for some time in the hot desert. Frank saw someone walking slowly and was injured, or seemed to be. He walked towards the unknown person.

We left for about a week... After days of journeying, we finally got out of the Pine forests. We approached what seemed to be a large lake inside the Elm forest. I was able to sketch much of the life and met some unusual animals. After graphing their locations, we sat down and have a drink in the lake's crystal clear water.

"Well Rogar, We have a long ways to go. But, It's going along magnificently so far..." Riida said.

The town was bustling, though there wasn't much there.

The trading post, a good 100 yards of lizard homes, and in the center of it all...Riida's camp.
About 20ft high, 10 yards wide and 8 yards long, it was made of black rock.
Among the lizards, it would be like a fort instead of a camp.

Yet, to Riida, It's like a den.

"Meh, It's so small." Riida said when he was inside. Niku, Lopi, and Riida had all their stuff in a mere corner. They had explosives, gems, and guns in another corner. Still, it took up little space, since Riida is OCD with organizing...

Jumping back to business right at night, we disappeared through the Ironwood Forests. Ray and Tessa trailed after me as I led the way. We was engulfed by the darkness; luckily, with my night vision, we made it through the forest with ease. Once again, I sketched out all the resources. As we approached the eastern beach head, we came across an old building. It's walls shattered and moldy. Most of the windows lay tattered by winds. The door was left ajar; the smell was of salt and seagulls.

I looked to the other two, "Care to check out what's inside this building? [The Old Inn]"

Rogar was relaxing for most of the days. He inspected and checked everywhere once in a while. When the town was fully operational, he left it for the Convoy Captain to take care of it. The delivery ship had returned with more supplies including several cannons to defend the town. With prior orders, he laced the bottom of the seas with water-proof flammable ropes. Rogar had no idea why. Rogar then walked to the miners of the eastern side to see Riida inspecting everyone.

"Riida, remember that far off mine we sent recons to report? I think we should head off an expedition there to see if we could double the mining." Rogar told Riida.

[Riida]

"True."Riida said. he walked away, and gathered a group of 20 lizards.

"C'mon..." He said, hopping on Tsuki. They grabbed some rock and picks, and set off.

Showing up at the small camp, we intruded on the property. Sneaking up to the door, we knocked on it three times and waited.

Worried about me, Rogar passed around at the camp. He was really bored. Even if the town has prospered into a good port, there was not much to do. The mining facility has given the city some good armory to destroy any raids. Rogar received news that Stor has finally finished the clay wall interior, and they need some metal or rock to assist in the outer wall. That's one job for the western mine which Riida was heading. God speed he thought to Riida, god speed.

Kyuu sent about ten scouts in different directions they were to look for any signs of civilization, If they were to come up to a fort or town they were to try and talk to the people and find out if they are hostile if not they would signal for the main group to come so that negotiations may pursue if the fort were to engage the scout in hostility the scout will signal with a red flare and run . If they were to come up to a group of people they would talk to them and find out where they are from and if they'd be willing to show them to their leader so that the former plan could pursue.

[Riida]

"Rah!" Riida yelled, bashing against a particularly large rock that was in the way of the entrance to the mine. It cracked, and as all of the group bashed against it, it finally broke. What seemed to be ice exploded from the rock...."D...DIAMONDS!" Riida yelled... He ran over to Tsu, commanded the group to start mining and making the outpost, and set off towards Rogar.

Frank hears a knock at the door, he grabs his weapons and looks out from the second-story window. He sees a person at the door and notices he is a cat. He thought of the cats on the other island that attacked him, could they be the same people? Not sure what to do he throws a dagger at him.

Hearing no response. I step in front of the cats and cried out, "Hello! Is anyone in there! I'm trying to see if anyone could help us for something! It's for the benefit of the lizards."

"What do you need help with??" yelled Frank.

after a few days none of the scouts came up with anything except that there was a very large desert on the other side of the mountains, Kyuu then made the decision to go back to vuu and come back with more supplies so that they may circle the entire island looking for any port towns that may have been established.

"Are there any good resources on Durnam besides the mines of the north! The Lizards have staged a colony there. We would need a bit of guidance in these part of the island."

[MonsterMiner]

"There are Ironwood trees to the south and west, not many herbs on this island. If you still want to mine there is my mine just two miles north of here, its not north in the mountains."

"Thanks!" I called out, "And be a bit careful! I sense some strange movement in my expedition." I commanded Ray and Tessa to quickly ran to our ship. He rushed past what seemed to be a scout of some sort. We sneaked past him and hurried to enter our ship. We rushed out, "Seems like some sort of nation is invading our island. We'll deal with them soon enough. First off, we'll head a journey to Vuu. Going to land on it's beach and settle along the coast. We'll effectively surround the island of Befin. Once we make sure Arduon is not going to break its promise, we could have a shrine on Befin. To the harbor of the northern desert!" I pet my new found friend, Skraun. "I'll be using you as a messenger." In my travel, I trained it to hunt and rely messages. Time for the maiden voyage. I hooked a letter to it's foot and gave it some meat and the scent of Rogar. "Give him this letter, now hurry!"

The bird traveled a day and came swiftly toward the town. Rogar spot the bird as it clutched his shoulder, it pecked at it's feathers as Rogar read the note. He read aloud, "Get some boats ready, we'll be heading for Vuu. Let the convoy men know that they shall round the island and destroy any invading fleet. Take a hold of the land and colonize it. Chop down the ironwoods, I command. Chop them down, we'll be using it later." He whistled to the captains and told them about the mission.

[Riida]

"Huh....Hahahaha....." Riida said, eavesdropping on Rogar. He went to a ship and told the captain to set off towards Vuu. Grabbing some gems and stones, he set off towards Vuu...

"Huh, I haven't heard from Riida in a while....I wonder if he's alright...." Lopi said, staring at the sky.

"HAUL IT ALL!" Niku screamed at the lizards. He broke his leg in the mine, and was leaning against the outpost.

The lizards at the other mine finished the outpost, and a group went back to the Oasis Town.

Arriving at the port of the city, I jumped down to see Rogar rushing to me.

Rogar exclaimed, "I got all the ships ready, sir! I have no idea where Riida is, but this town has began to prosper. Near by City of Stor, I got news that the wall is complete. We actually did it. So, are we going to colonize the bottom half of Durnam?"

I replied, "Yes, and hurry. We'll be leaving soon. Drop out at the nearest beach with an old building sticking out. That would be our second town. Now hurry up!"

The rest of the day, the team assembled with our vessels plus some other smaller colony ships. We head off toward the eastern side and landed at the beach head. I jumped down to the loading bay, grabbed a hold of the younger desert areen and jumped on it. I tucked my Skraun into a good nestling side saddle. Then we hurried off. I commanded every man to chop down the ironwoods and pile it around as a stern wall. A wall of iron... Then I told all the females to ready up their supplies and gather any herbs.

Rogar explained to the convoy men that they needed to gather some elm woods from the farther reaches and bring it back to build some strong houses. He relaxed as he was not a leader anymore and skipped toward Tessa, Ray, Lopi, and Niku's side. Another lizard had taken over Niku's cooking job. We watched the lizards rushing by on this humid day.

Tessa just fasten her hair back in a ponytail and lay down to take a nap. She stayed quiet for most of their journey, she didn't care much. She could talk to Ray, but he was too busy talking to Rock Turtle, who came along. Tessa sighed and closed her eyes.

Lopi, feeling bored, went to talk with Rogar.

"Hey, Rogar....Have you seen Riida?"

Niku came and went through the camp. He liked cooking, and wondered if he could open up a restaurant. Testing out one of his meals, he asked Rogar,
"Hey Rogar...Does this taste good?" He said, holding up a type of stuffing with meat around it. It looked pretty darn appetizing :D

Rogar, being confronted by the two sailors replied, "I don't seem to remember; that he took a fishing boat somewhere. Had to pay five silvers. And Niku, Magnifique! Get me more."

Rogar leaped off onto the smaller desert areen, the one which remained, and hustle around ordering everyone to move it.

I walked around the camp at the old building [the inn]. They have rebuilt the inn as a central embassy and have finished making the ironwood wall. The men returned with the elm trees to began with the building of houses. I left Tessa to supervise this settlement. I hoped into the remaining two larger ships.

I spoke to my Skraun to send a message to the northern desert town then back to Tessa to stay there for now.. He flew off with my message and I commanded all the ships to rendezvous at the eastern beach of Vuu. There, I will set foot on Riida's old base. He's probably there preparing me for something.

"Yes SIR!" Niku said, going into commando Mode.

They landed off the coast of the village. Rogar told everyone to leave except Tessa, Elision, and the convoy captains. Anyone else shall stay in the village. They should gather around the islands on the beach and built up more settlement... Rogar moved up north with the same ship L'Xele used. He made way toward Oasis Town which was a major mining town now. Rogar loaded up all his necessary equipment for the hot air balloons and jumped back on the ship with Tessa and the seven captains. They moved off to Seiwan to tell of the capture of L'Xele and the attack from Arduon.

Rogar muttered to himself, "This is not a war of land, this is a war made by a damn crook who spilled lies about the lizards. 'Oh that wasn't a military scouting mission' MY ARSE! Kyuu shall pay for this. He even sent word to Arduon's base for them to attack us. Just because we wanted a land which they tried to take from us. Well forget it for now... Rogar. They will pay in due time when the war ends."

He then spot the old Rock Turtle and kicked it.

Rogar and the crew member arrived at Oasis Town, near the state of a city. They gather with them the rocks in the mines, the ironwood of the south, the hide of desert areens, and the flammable object.

"Okay, Tessa, I heard you have a good sense of herbalism, right?"

"Yes, Rogar."

"Then how about this, bring back ten tonnage of each herb that will be used to make fire. Then bring it back here."

Tessa left for the other side of the river to the Ironwood Village. Rogar walked back to the supplies. So here's the sketch, sew up all the hides to make it into a large rectangle shape. Once done, tie ropes to each ends and make a basket out of the logs. Hatch up the ropes to the front of the basket; have bags of water hanging around it. One you are done, make a box out of the rocks via sharping it with the silversmith. We also need a bowl that can withstand heat. On the double, let's go!"

So everyone split up to what they needed to do.

They reassembled with the needed supplies. They attached the basket with the hide square with hooks and ropes. With that secure, they hinged the large rock container into the bottom of the basket, opening a hole in the middle of the for the dropping of the fire to vacuum out the air. The box would allow a short burst of wind to shield against flying objects. They then places a tray that grasped the ropes and placed the tin container on top of that. Lighting up the container was the herbs and water. If that doesn't work, just burn the damn thing with oil and fire. The balloon raised a bit; after some cheering, Rogar tested it. In a small pause of suspense, the hot air balloon lift up around steadily to a hundred feet. Decreasing the fire's power, the balloon sat down quietly.

Rogar smiled and looked at everyone, "We have lift off, now we can do a commando operation. Get this prototype ready, we'll be heading to Vuu in a couple of days. Tessa, resume harvesting the herbs. Build farms center around them."

"Okay, Rogar." Tessa set off to the village again. Her female lizard friends accompany her.

Elision watched her go and turned to Rogar, "Why are you helping the Lizards, not anything else?"

"That's because I'm loyal to that son of a bow, L'Xele. I would still be loyal to him now. After I get him the sub, I'll retreat to Aroan to live a peaceful vacation."

Elision stood up, "I believe in your worthy cause. I have felt specism [lol] by all the other races. It's only natural for us to seek revenge. This time, we'll wait out the war. This is just going to help us boost ourselves."

"And beside, I, as your captain isn't a Seiwanese. If they catch me, it's not Seiwan's fault. If I do get the sub, it will boost the prowess of Seiwan's force. By then, Seiwan would reign both the sea and sky."

[Darken Sin]

They shuffled the large balloon into L'Xele's ship; they departed for Vuu. [To The Sea Thread!]

Rock Turtle had finished reading the map he "procured" he had been able o find a god route to his destination. It would take a few days but it would be for the best. No one would find him and he sensed what was coming soon and there he would be safe until it occurred.

They swiftly landed on the northern shore after leaving the other crew men with Tessa to try to harvest more herbs. Landing there, Ferris comment, "Nice hot place we got here... Just for lizards."

Rogar just nodded and went down to the large oasis which now had a good filtering system. But... on the shore was no Rock Turtle but the Desert Areen that Riida left by, who, seeing Rogar, passionately rubbed Rogar. "Damn though. Even though we got another mount, there's no chance of learning Seals. The other source would only mean Dragons or find a book on Seals."

"I only heard that the only book belong to some chick that leave in where you're hijacking. No use there..." Ferris replied.

"God, son of a bow! What should we do now!"

[Darken Sin]

Ferris took out his silver canteen with the dragon crested on it and drank a bit. He eased off the wincing and spoke out, "Now, what to do?"

Rogar sat back and stretched out at the sun. The heat traveled throughout his frame and passed to the soil. He flew up and cleared his throat, "There is no use in that anymore. I will now try to consult L'Xele on this in his cell. Ferris, take the hot air balloon down to the village to the south as we go off. Get set with Tessa and find if you could help us."

"Aye, will do. Now, if you excuse me, we shall go now."

They left on the ship which traveled down to the southern Ironwood Village where Ferris left with the balloon.

"Now, Elision, get to Stor, we shall see our leader, L'Xele."

Ferris and Tessa went about instructing about picking herbs and making it the town's main product.

Ferris plopped down right as the sun began to set. He opened the canteen and drank down a thirsty gulp. He satisfyingly burped and watched as Tessa walked away to the fields. "Women, never understand them."

Frank being bored took his boat and set off to Vuu.

They arrived at the shore; the crew was greeted by the captains who were previously the convoy men captains. They exchanged greetings and told about the prosperity of Oasis Town, now known as Lacerta Civitas[Lizard] or LaCi [Pronounce as Lassy] for short. In the discussion, he learned that Tessa, while hunting for herb seeds, stumble upon a cottage where a panda roam... It was deserted, but the door was lock. She's using the place as a camp. The nearby mines are also being dug. There's multiple settlements dotted across the southern shore now. There's some Storian Patrols which goes as far south as there. The northern desert function with just a city, LaCi, two port towns which are near the two edges, and several oasis villages. Rogar relaxed and let the two areen drink up. After some hours, they pack up and left to rendezvous with Tessa in the village L'Xele first made.

Arriving there, Ferris exclaimed to everyone, "Done with chapter 27 of the 100 chapters... I could already do small seals.... but not of capable sizes. Good progress though. I'll probably finish this in a week."

Everyone got ready and lodged in the Panda's house.

Ferris read the whole book. Chapter by chapter. His poor bunny eyes were bloodshot; he urged on. Finally, it began his testing. He knew he needed to train. So.. starting on that weekend, he trained for the whole season. That is until he heard of Rogar plan.

Rogar had other plans now that he got some leads on Vuu. "It seems like our retarded enemies are just putting up walls upon walls. This shall not help in the long run. What we have to do, as an independent faction of Seiwan, act upon the two isolated lands, Hemil and Jersun. Jersun is the nearest, marking it the best choice. But... Hemil is deserted except for tribes. They do not speak our language, but they are just females. Their stealth is no match to mere weapons of melee. So many choices, but no time. The only thing we shall do is... my other plan, secure Durnam. Getting it secure and colonize is our primary choice now. We need to prosper and have strength. The enemy outs us on everything, and that includes stupidity. So let us wait."

Ferris slept for the full day to rest up for the fact that he would be training in the gruesome weeks in the acts of seals.

Rogar straighten up and he started working as the would-be-governor of Durnam should.

Toshiru has just landed on Durnam and is trying to find some food. She looks around and remembers suddenly that she has some dried fruit in her pocket. For the rest of the day she ventures out in the woods hoping to find someone...........at the end of the day, she is tired, hopelessly lost, and out of food. After setting up a makeshift tent with her cloak, she falls asleep...wondering about her future.

Rogar bit his finger as he waited for anything. Then... a burst was heard as two people entered. They exclaimed, "Hello, Lt. Rogar! We are sorry to inform you, but you are to be resigned."

Rogar got up solemnly, "Resign? What do you mean?"

They glanced at each other and the larger of the two cleared his voice, "The king is looking for lizards leaders who he could trust."

Rogar bit his teeth down hard, "What is the meaning of this!"

"We are very sorry, but for now on... Dello shall be governor of Durnam..."

Rogar raged a bit inside, but he humbly hold it off, "Then, I shall resign."

They bowed, "Thank you, the king shall allow you L'Xele's ship, cargo, and four cannons. He also gave you a bit of fund. Other then that, you must part. But, you have access to our land, trusted." They walked off as Rogar sighed.

Elision, overhearing this, quietly came to Rogar's side. "Don't worry, friend. L'Xele saved me a few time. I must pay back his debt."

Rogar smiled, "At least I got you, friend."

Rogar made way to the southern area where he informed Ferris and Tessa on his news. But there were also another news. It seemed like Ferris finished his book... and Tessa finished her job. Tessa looked at Rogar, "I'm quite sorry, but you know, the contract's over.."

Rogar just grinned, "It's okay, Tessa. No need, now get back to Gershin. Go have a good life. Maybe we'll cross paths again."

He, Elision, and Ferris got up on the ship. Rogar ordered another areen, this one an average. So now, they set off for somewhere.... out there.

Waking up just after dawn, Toshiru decides that Durnam just isnt someplace that she would like to be. She builds a makeshift raft and sails off to Vuu.

(time skip for my nameless bunni i guess.)

opening her eyes, she stared at the sky.
Where am I?... She stood up heavily, her harp still on her back, scratched from the rocks that had slammed into her when she was washed ashore. She sat down again, took off her tattered cloak and wrapped it around her golden harp. She put her hand over the damaged instrument, and closed her eyes, muttering a spell.

The magic infestation was finished, she slid her cloak away from her harp and threw it amidst the shore. Her harp was new again, sound, still immaculate as if it was never damaged.

She let out a sigh, I wonder where I am... The last thing I remember was setting sail to Durnam... But what happened...?

She turned her head towards the ocean, eyes glowing again with light. A calamity... The surge cooled down once again.. I sense... something awful is about to happen...

~GRUMBLE gruuuuuuuumble~

At that instant her stomach was grumpling, crying for food...

"Uhhh.." She sighed, " I haven't eaten in forever.. Maybe I should go and look for food..."

She turned, Picking up her harp, Her staff and her nearly empty bag of goodies. Treading through the sand, she stared down to her feet.

"I need new clothes... and maybe even a shower..." She looked through her bag, "And some money..."

Shrugging her shoulders, she moved on... I'll find away to make some money in the first city I get to.. Then we'll see..

Stumbling her way into an inn, She looked around.

It was busy, bustling with people, high on drinks, low on love.

She sat down, on a table in the corner, feeling oddly left out, yet at the same time fitting right in..
She didn't know why.. but it felt like something was meant for her to stay there.. But at the same time, something is calling her to leave..

~GRUMMMBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~

"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!" she exclaimed, hitting her head on the table infront of her, "WILL YOU NOT REST YOU WRETCHED STOMACH??"

She lifted her head and sat back on her chair.. She closed her eyes.. Took a breath in.. and a breath out. She looked around again and stood up to take a leave..

She walked outside.. And ventured on into a beautiful forest..

Maybe this is where i shall catch some sleep..

Once again, she found a cave, and beside it, was a gigantic pear tree. She laid her bag down, looked around and found a stick to light another camp fire. She grabbed hold of her bag and climbed the enormous pear tree, sitting there for awhile and admiring the view of the land glowing nicely under bright moonlight, whilst eating a whole heap of pears... In the distance did she see a ship setting sail. She smiled, oddly, for no apparent reason.

Hanging her bag on a wedged branch, she took the harp from her back. Examining it, she found no scratches, not yet at least. She looked at it reminiscently, and started to play.

Tomorrow... I shall set sail.. and wherever the waves may take me... they take me..

She stopped playing and headed back down to the cave. There, she lay on her side, using her arm as a pillow and her bag as a makeshift blanket.

She left her staff perched on the ground, as if it were keeping enemies at bay. She needed to rest now, as much as she can before she finds some material for herself to go and make a raft.. or something to drift by on the oceans.

She smiled at the idea... I shall find.. my reason.. Soon..

Moments later, she had drifted off to sleep.

Arriving at the bay, I noticed much change from the years. The bays were robust, the mining were quickened. I traveled along the two coasts for some days before heading toward the original house the Panda was in. It was a shriveled up house by now, entangled by vines; it was deserted. There was a sign outside that said, "Property of Rogar, ally of Seiwan." I smirked, good damn Rogar. I fumbled around the lock and opened it. Going inside, I noticed a small little note on the vacant table. I opened it up and read it out loud, "Come to the island of the cats. We shall see who changed the most...."

I grinned, "Damn you, Rogar. Just what I thought of..." I continued to read and there were a summary of the whole five years. I quickly folded the note, and walked around the town. There was a small mining facility where the Panda instructed so many years ago. I looked in it to see if there was anything useful, all I saw was rocks, crystals, and a small bunny girl. I, curiously, poked her cheek with the end of the spear's broad end. Motioning her to wake up, I murmured to her ear, "Wake up, dammit, or I'll bring the boogie man here!"

boogie... man?

She gently turned over to her back, unraveling herself from her curled position. She opened her eyes gently and felt a presence some where nearby...

Blurred, she sat up and rubbed her arm with her tattered sleeve and looked around.

She looked to the direction of her harp and held it for awhile, leaning on it while she waits for her eyes and her mind to wake up... recollecting everything again as if she was asleep for millions of years.

Sitting there, she plucked a few strings and started to play, Still in a half-asleep state....

I coughed a bit and sat down. Sighing, I spoke quietly, "Ah, so you are a traveling harpist, are you not? Well, don't mind me, but why are you in Durnam? By now, many lizards shall see you. Once they have, you would be killed. Those are some beautiful notes, but I'm afraid you shall wake up the nearby residents. Do you need somewhere to go? I may help you, but it shall cost you something...."

She stopped playing, though she was still half asleep. She sat up straight, staring dozily at the wall in front of her, then glanced at the blurry figure that was sitting down next to a tall stick with a shiny point at the end. She stared back at the wall again, and realizing that there was some one there, with a stick- No, A SPEAR. She turned her head again and her eyes suddenly focused.

"Ahhh!!!" She she cried, as she curled up into a little ball on her knees. Facing her back towards the figure. WHAT'S GOING ON!??? IS THAT THE BOOGIE MAN???

Suddenly.. A loud, ferocious snarl sounded out of nowhere..

~GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWRRR~

That ferociously loud snarl.. Was her empty stomach...

Seeing the girl clutching her sorry stomach, I already knew what to do. I rolled my eyes a bit; later, came back with a loaf of bread. "Here, take it. It'll keep you full for now. So what about the deal?"

[jillie]

She turned around, and looked at him..

What on earth... She examined him from head to toe.. My staff should have prevented him from coming in.. what on earth happened?

She looked at the loaf, It's tempting... She looked at him and smiled sweetly.

For some strange reason she felt that she could trust him. Though at the same time, she was afraid to.. She took the loaf and halfed it, and stretched out her hand with the loaf.

"Thank you," She smiled, "I don't.. have money with me.. But I'll do anything you want me too.."

"Great, then I would only need you for only one thing. Help us both get out of Durnam and into Jersun. That's all. So come on, let's hurry." I grabbed her measly wrist, not the one she was eating with, and stealthily walked toward the docks. "Now, we just need to find a boat heading toward Gershin. Enemy territory, but the only hope.."

"Your arm.." She said in a worried tone, "It's infected.."

She stood still and held him back, unraveled the bandage and closed her eyes, muttering a spell. The magical surge ran through her body, emitting light from her hands and also from her eyes... She finished and his hand was as good as new... She finished and gently put his hand down.

She grabbed her harp and attached it behind her back, and scooped her nearly empty bag and walked quickly towards him near the entrance.

I don't understand... She smiled at him sweetly once more..Why didn't my staff protect me from him?.

I grunted, magic.. never needed it, never felt it. Ignorance is bliss I guess... We hurried to a ship, its charter said, "Going to Gershin, Loading Black Powder..." I air lift the bunny inside; I followed suit. I picked the lock of the cargo, and we hid inside. Once we're clear, I locked it back, and we hid near a couple of barrels.

"Well, once I see Jersun, we'll hijack a boat, and climb out. Until then, rest. I'll keep guard."

She looked at him as if she was reading him like a book. Her eyes were emitting light again, and the magical surge was running through her body once more. You don't like magic..

"Your arm.. would have been cut off... If I hadn't healed it..." The surge had slowly faded, and she looked down, as if in shame or regret, "I hope you don't hold it against me for doing so.."

She laid down and stared at the ceiling. "What are you planning to do with me after?" She asked. She sat up and held onto her knees, looking at him innocently, "I never got your name.." She smiled once more.

"Name's L'Xele Firubir, now, I shalln't need your's." The ship left off for the sea...

His words ran through her as if she was see-through. It felt like a stab in the chest, more likely. But it didn't matter. She didn't have a name to give, and it's fine for him to be that way..

She looked at him and wondered if she really was at fault for something... She tucked her head into her knees, holding back her tears..

"It's... not like you do anyway.." She pushed her voice out, hiding her teary tone, "I don't have one.. and I'm not one worth remembering.."
