Setamoon and tika arrive on Teeran. they immediatly see the mountains and the small gap marking the pass and knew thats where they will make a wall, then a town behind it. so they get the cart with tools, regular wood, and all thier other materials and head that way.

It was so dim below the deck, so it was very easy to fall asleep without knowing. It was even easier when the air was so warm. Jinx sat up sleepily, wondering where she was before remembering that she had came down to bring some of the supplies up. She wondered how she could fall asleep whilst working, but assumed that it was just something like exhaustion. She thought about going back to sleep when she realized that she really needed to get back to work. Standing up hurriedly, she began to collect up planks of wood & other building stuffs. She quickly went back to the surface of the ship, greeted by a blast of blinding sunshine, chasing after her two crewmates.

"Ahh, look who finally woke up and helped " Setamoon said, laughing. Tika and Setamoon already dropped off some of the stuff, and was returning for more."Alright, so, we gonna start building a small hut after we finished with supplies?"Tika asked"Yes, but, jinx, we gonna build one or 2 huts first?"Setamoon responded and asked

"Yes. I'll get to it right away." She smiled at the two elves & sat down, still feeling rather tired, since she had just woke up. "Shall I start now, or should I help you bring more materials out?"

"Lets bring these materials to the pass up there, then we'll start" Setamoon, his wife nodding in confirmation

Jinx sat up, feeling slightly more awake. "Okay then." She said, collecting up the materials once more.

Tika and Setamoon carried the last load of materials to the planned area(that pocket in the mountains), glancing back to make sure Jinx didnt fall back asleep

Seri awoke. Using her staff to stand up, she didn't see anyone around her. SHe also noticed that there was not a big mountain rising out over the island, and started to panic. Seeing a boat as she looked for anyone, she began walking towards it, leaning on her staff.

Jinx followed after her companions. H-heavy. She wasn't quite used to carrying materials, bizarre since she could build things using the oh-so heavy stuff. "We're going into the mountains, right?" It'll be cold... I hope I don't fall ill. She thought that she shouldn't be worrying about these things & caught up with the two elves, seeing how she was lagging behind.

Arriving at the boat, Seri found no people on the ship, or anything she could use. While searching, she noticed footprints leading into the forest, and decided to follow them.

"We are going between the mountains, no tup into them. Theres a big clearing in the center, defendable from all sides except for the one opening, which after we start the settlement and get it going, a wall will be built." Setamoon said, finding his equal shares of supplies easy to carry. then again he is used to carrying big game from his hunts. Tika, on the other hand, felt a bit weighted, but said nothing, being used to setamoon carrying everything, but wanting to be an equal in all here, not viewed as weak.

Seri lost the footprints when she actually entered teh forest, but kept going, having a feeling she'd find someone in the forest.

When they had about reached the mountain, it was amazingly steep, seeming impossible to climb, for her, anyway. Not to mention the space to walk was almost non-existent. I'm not sure how I can build on this...

Seri broke into a run. After a while, she stopped, and heard footsteps. Hiding behind a tree, she slowly followed them.

Once they got through the pass, it was all forest, no mountains, save by next to the water. It was the most easily defended place on the island. control the pass, you control the island."Alright, lets get to work"Setamoon said"So, jinx, want a single hut for all of us or 2 huts, one for yourself and the other for me and Tika?"

Following the group through the pass, she peeked out from behind a tree to see what the group was doing.

Jinx sighed in relief. "I'm somewhat relieved, knowing that we don't need to climb." She smiled kindly, completely oblivious to the person who was tailing them.

"yay, but we are going to have to build a wall here, for a form of defense"Setamoon said, winking at tika(jinx dont know of the forming-own-country plan, tika and setamoon are keeping it a secret)

She took a moment to study the area. "Ummmm..." She looked at the supplies they had. "It might be easier to just build on hut. It'll conserve time, not to mention if I do it correctly, I might have some wood left over to start building the wall."

"Alright, just tell us how we can help"Setamoon said, stopping just out of sight range of the pass."this is where we should start building. It seems level enough, and safe enough"

Jinx nodded. "Yes, that seems a good place to start." (so, what materials do we have? Do we just have wood, or what?)

Setamoon and tika both started helping jinx build however they can, niether of them knowing how to build anything, except bows and arrows

This is going by faster than I thought... Even though Setamoon & Tika knew very little about building, they were still more of a help than a hindrance. Fortunately, huts were pretty simple to make, so it was finished in almost no time.

Shifting her position to hiding behind the tree again, she accidently stepped on a twig. Oh damnit why is there always a twig damnit damnit damnit. She slid down the tree into a sitting position and heard they hadn't heard it.

(This brings up a funny thing I read in a book, the funny thing is is that IRL there are very rarely twigs on the ground that snap loudly, of course this isn't IRL so, yeah. Still kinda funny though.)

Setamoon and tika both heard the twig snap, becuase they have better hearing than almost all the other races, but neither looked. Tika called out, in a soothing, nonthreatening voice"whoever is out there, show yourself and quit hiding. meanwhile, the hut was finished, so they then looked over to where the twig snapped at.

Although her two teammates had heard the twig snapping, she hadn't heard the slightest bit of noise. This was because she didn't have ears, so her hearing was sub-par at best. "Who are you talking to?" She looked to the two elves curiously.

Oh damnit they could be cannabals or pirates or theives and i've just walked into a deathtrap. Seri panickedly thought to herself. Peeking her head out from behing the tree, she said, "Uh, hi there.."

Still using the same voice, tika called out" comon, dont be shy. we just wanna know why ou are following us and who you are" setamoon glanced at jinx and pointed at the new person"we are talking to her, appearently"

"Uhh, ok.." Seri said. Standing up, she moved out of cover of the tree. "My name is Seri, and I was following you because I saw your ship on the shore."

Jinx smiled at the newcomer. "You needn't be wary." She knew that it was only natural to be cautious around strangers on a new island, but it was only polite.

"hmm, tell me, are you wrecked then? becuase if i had a ship and saw another uknown ship, i wouldnt try to follow them, as a precaution."Setamoon stated flatly

"No, I washed up on shore, there wasn't any wreck that I could see."

"Why did you follow us if you were so uneasy about facing us?"

[zlyfire]

"Yea, thats what I'm wondering too"Tika said "While we are trying to firgure this out, imma go get some food"Setamoon said, getting his bow, quiver, and going hunting

"Y'know, I'm really not sure."

"Well either way, it's a pleasure to meet you." She stood up & walked over to the stranger, holding out her hand, still smiling.

Shaking hands with the person, Seri asked, "Well, since I don't have anywhere else to go, can I stay with you guys?"

[shinjumaou]

"Well, I don't mind, but I'm not sure about Setamoon & Tika..." She looked back to the two elves. "... But I certainly wouldn't mind."

[zlyfire]

"I wouldn't mind, and setamoon probly won't mind either. He enjoys hunting, so he will just get to hunt even more, even though we have plenty of preserved foods."Tika said, her voice becoming smooth as a river pebble, like it usually is

"Alright then." Seri said, and walked over to their camp.

She smiled at the woman. "so, um, may I please know your name?"

"I thought I already said it.." she muttered to herself. "Uh, I'm Seri, and you are?"

"I'm tika, and the one who left to go hunting is setamoon, my husband"tika stated, that last part to make sure seri didnt try to hit on setamoon(shes a slightly jealous type :3)

"My name is Jinx. I'm sorry, I'm a little bit hard of hearing." She shifted her feet slightly. Even though she was travelling to unknown places, she didn't have any footwear, not to mention that all she was wearing was a nightgown.

"Alright, so uh, is there gonna be a hut for me, or do I sleep around the campfire? Either's fine"

"hmm, you can sleep in the hut. Me and Setamoon will sleep in the woods. were used to it, and we dont want to wake you" Tika says, hinting at something, but not stating it blandly

She felt slightly disheartened, knowing that her friends would have to sleep outside. "Ah... But, won't it be uncomfortable?"

"Alright, thank you. So, is there anything you need help with?"

[zlyfire]

"No, like i said, we're used to sleeping in the woods"she said, meaning both senses of the word. "And i dont think so, unless we are gonna start on the wall or port now?"

"I guess we could start building now... I was just thinking, is it really going to be that strong of a wall if it's just made out of basic materials?"

[zlyfire]

"hmm, guess not. hey seri, wat are you good at? are you a proficient miner?"tike asked.

"No, no really, but I suppose I could try it."

[zlyfire]

"no, no, we would need someone proficient in mining to be able to find and tell us of some good metals. guess we'll settle with a stone/wood wall across that pass. and a wooden gate too"Tika said, picking up some building materials and heading over there

Jinx smiled wearily at Seri. "I would help, but I'm afraid I can't mine at all." She fluttered her wings. "Even if I knew how to mine, I still wouldn't be very good at it." She looked at Tika. "Would it be a good idea to reinforce the gate with some metal, or should we save it for something else?"

Seri jammed her staff into the ground, and picked up some wood, and carried it over to the pass.

"hmm, reinforce it with metal, we have plenty"Seatmoon said, arriving carrying a 11-point buck(yes, theres deer on the islands, tropical islands with deer, dont ask.) on his shoulders without even showing any problems. He then dropped it easly next to the fire"ill get to work cooking this meat, then ill go help"(wall=4 posts, i think(4 posts about the wall, not some random 4 posts))

Seri brought more wood, and started working on the gate.

Jinx started plotting out what would go where. It was simple digging the wood into the ground, but she wasn't too sure on how she would make a sturdy wall; just making a hollow shell would be weak, and it would most likely get knocked down if the weather was harsh. "Do you think we have enough stone? I was thinking about having a wooden shell & using stone on the inside, but it might be a problem if there isn't enough..."

"oh, well have plenty of stone. and its not like we are using the stones for anything else" Tika said, setamoon still cooking the meat back at the hut(remember, the hut and wall are just out of sight of each other) "And you can have a metal base for more security, right?"

Digging the dirt up so there was a mini ravine, Seri began lining up boards and packing them in with dirt. After finishing the first side, she started on the second side.

Jinx nodded, collecting up some metal & applying it to the bottom of the wooden shell. It didn't take too long before she got to the laborious part; the stone. Since she wasn't too big, not to mention her physical strength wasn't too good anyway, it was difficult & slow.

Seri helped move the stones, but it still took a while. After the last stone was in place, Seri remarked, "Looks good enough, for now."

"Yes. We should get some rest & continue later." She smiled at Seri before walking back to the hut, looking over to Setamoon. "How is the food doing?"

"just finished. I take pride in my cooking."Setamoon said as he took off the meat and starting cutting it up and putting it on hot rocks. Tika headed back to the huts and sat next to setamoon, both of them sitting cross legged

Jinx ran back to the wall. "Seri, our food has finished cooking, so if you like, you can come back to the hut & have something to eat."

"Sounds good" She said, running back to the huts. WHen she got there, she grabbed her staff and sat down.

Jinx ran after Seri & sat down a slight way away from the fire, sitting with legs straight. Cold feet. Cold feet.

Setamoon gave everyone a piece of meat on the hot rock, making sure the rocks were cool enough to be touched without spazzing(ya know). TIka starting eating hers, savoring the perfectly cooked but unseasoned but still tasting good venison(deer meat)

Seri started eating, being strangely silent.

Jinx stared at her meat. She wasn't very hungry at all, she never seemed to be, but she felt bad, knowing that somebody had took the time to make it & that she was letting it go to waste. She put on a straight face & started to eat. It was unnaturally quiet. "Um... Th-the meat is good." She attempted to make small talk, anything to break the silence; silence made her feel slightly upset, although she wasn't sure why (backstory hint hint).

"Thank you. I'm surprised I found deer out here. This place seems to tropical for any of the game I'm used to."Setamoon said.(you can write a backstory up, on like notepad, becuase when and if i get a subforum for this, ill make a backstory thread and stuff)

"I agree, this is really good." Seri said.

Jinx smiled. At least there's a little bit of conversation... (I was actually just planning on revealing it some time during the main RP; it's better to have the backstory make some sort of impact when revealed, because it's revealed at a certain time, or something)

Setamoon stood up, finished eating."Im off to find a place for me and tika to sleep, since y'all 2 are going to sleep in the hut. And we'll be fine, don't worry"he said"I'll look with you"tika said, also finished eating. They both headed out into the woods

"Stay safe, then." She set down her food & stood up, walking out of the hut without a word. She went back to the wall & continued to build.. I'm going to try my best for them... I'm going to finish the wall by the end of the day! Then, maybe after, if there are enough materials left, I'll be able to make another hut for Setamoon & Tika to sleep in together! A-and then I'll find some fertile land & start growing something. I'm going to get so much done for them, so they don't have to sleep in the forest! As she began to continue her work on the wall, she happily hummed a tune to herself, positive that she'd finish everything in one day (or night, whatever time of day it is).

Finishing eating, Seri stood up and entered her hut.

setamoon and tika were a bit off the path that was marked from the hut to the wall, out of vision range, kissing passionatly(thats as close as its getting, in text at least, ill shut up now)

When Seri was sure everyone had left, she stood in the center of her hut, and stabbed her staff into the ground. The floor and walls faded to blackness, and a white glyph appeared under her. SHe just stood there, hoping no one would notice.

(next day)
Setamoon and tika were still sleeping in the woods. setamoon slowly got up and stretched."yawwwwwn, that was nice, hey, tika, ya up yet?" "yes. im up"she replied. they got dressed and headed back to the hut

Seri's eyes turned normal again, and she fell backwards, falling on the floor. Her staff landed next to her.

Setamoon and tika entered he hut. "up yet seri? i figured they'd be up before us" setamoon said

Seri scrambled to get up. Grabbing her staff, she said "Yeah, I'm up."

[zlyfire]

"have a nice sleep?"tika asked, standing next to setamoon intametly(you know, really close, her right thigh on his left thigh)

"Uhh, yeah..." Seri said, looking uncomfortable.

"Did jinx return here? or do you know?"tika asked, looking around

(If you are going to do that next day thing make sure to do it on all of the threads that are related to this. It will clear up confusion.)

(eh, on BIW, the days on each island changed differently as well. each island was its own time zone more or less, and the days dont really matter. they dont make much of a difference to the story)

"I dunno. I'll go check." Seri said, brushing past them. She was glad to be out of there.

setamoon sat down and start drawing up what he thinks the village should be layed out as. "hey tika, would you mind going back to the Continent(they refer to it that way) and getting us some colonists to help us build/get food/prosper?"setamoon asked "sure thing seta"tika said, kissing him lightly then heading to the ship

Li'than hopped down lightly onto the warm sand, the water slowly flowing in and out, soaking the bottom of his boots. Sprinkles crooned softly as she surveyed their new land. Li'than had been sent to lay the groundwork for an entire settlement of White Elves, beginning with a temple and then moving upwards. As he dragged the small boat filled with wood up the shore he noticed a bit of smoke coming from a nearby mountain pass.

Humans! Li'than thought, instinctively crouching down to avoid being seen. Humans have to ruin everything! But it matters not, I will simply avoid the mountain pass and build my temple right here.

He waited for a couple more minutes to see if any of the humans had already seen him, and then, deciding he was indeed unnoticed, dragged his boat off into the forest. Sprinkles floated behind him, crooning and mewing with delight at her new surroundings. After Li'than reached a spot that he decided would be perfect for the inn he pulled his tools from his boat and immediately began blessing the ground. After performing the proper rites he began disassembling the boat and slowly began constructing a sturdy building using both the wood from the boat, and the wood he had already brought with him.

Jinx had fallen asleep during the night from exhaustion. She had finished the wall & had started to look for some fertile soil, but the lack of sleep had gotten to her & she fell asleep on the ground with some basic farming tools, and a small bag of seeds tied to her waist. She slowly began to wake up, still feeling weary from last night's work.

Walking over to Jnx, Seri asked "You awake?"

She looked up at Seri, her vision slightly blurry from the harsh sunlight that peeked through the mountains' cover. "Yes, thank you." She smiled at Seri before sneezing, most likely a cold brought on by sleeping outside.

With the base of the temple almost completed, Li'than decided to take a break and scout around the island to break the monotony of construction. The first place he intended on visiting was the human settlement, and he quickly sped off into the forest, with Sprinkles following him dutifully. As he neared the mountain pass he slung his shield across his back and pulled out his bow, drawing an arrow to the strings in preparation. He slowly approached the huts keeping an eye on the walls of the mountain pass in case the humans were going to ambush him. Sprinkles, meanwhile, wrapped herself around him and satisfied herself by nibble on his hair and cloak.

Seri stuck out a hand to help Jinx up. "Wait a minute, I think theres someone there..."

(nova, you cant see the huts for 2 reasons, one being the wall that was built, and the second being, as ive said, the huts being just out of eyesight from the walls/pass)
Tika came back with all the new colonists and starting walking to the huts, easily 20 people with her(lets go with 20, i like that number right now)
Setamoon headed to the wall to see its construction and to look around on top of it.(assuming its wide enough to walk on and has stairs, of course)

[OoC; Oh, sorry. It just seemed a little ridiculous that you guys could finish a wall that fast. I assumed it hadn't been done yet. In that case, just assume that when I said "the huts" I mean "the wall." Since I have nothing to really go off of, I'm just gonna stick with this OoC post.]

Jinx spotted Tika & Setamoon (she isn't at the hut, since she fell asleep outside) and waved to them, standing up & running over to them, greeting them with a sunny face & another sneeze. "How was last night?"

"fine" they said in unison, tika blushing slightly at the thought. the rest of the colonists tika brought headed to the hut, looking at the plans setamoon drew the night before"I see the walls finished"tika said"good job"

Seri gripped her staff, and her vision turned inverted. SHe spotted the person who was in the bushes, and pointed the staff at them. "Over there."

[shinjumaou]

Jinx blushed. "Thank you. I spent all night on it so it would be finished when you came back." (what sort of seeds & farming tools would she have at this point?)

[zlyfire]

(umm, normal basic stuff? i dont know)"I brought some people from the mainland to help us build up the area" tika said, gesturing to the new arrivals, which have started doing wat they did, the miners looking for good veins of ore/metals/stuffs, farmers looking for fertile soil like jinx was about to do until she fell asleep, the builders starting to build enough huts for everyone, etc.
Setamoon looked in the direction seri was was indicating and saw the person hiding."Whoever is there, show yourself. Don't go sneaking around"he said, then added, just barely audible"the next person who sneaks up on us, or tries to, is gonna get an arrow to the foot"

Li'than stared quizzically at the group of people on the other side of the wall gesturing towards his general location on the other side of the wall, looking around for the bush that he was supposedly hiding it. Entirely confused by the foolish humans, he shrugged. Sprinkles continued nibbling at his hair.

"I would hardly consider walking down the side of this pass 'hiding in a bush,'" he shouted. "I was looking to see exactly what's going on here, and to generally inform you humans that I am building a settlement outside of your walls in the forest. I was slightly confused as to why you have a wall, and was worried that there were barbarians around here. Or that you are barbarians and are trying not to get killed. You know. 'Cause you were doing barbarian things. Like killing people. And pillaging."

Seeing that the wall would probably prevent any surprise attacks Li'than slung it across his back, hoping the humans would offer him something exciting to do.
...
Like killing humans.

"We haven't killed anyone, or pillaged."Setamoon said(lets assume there's slits in the wall, for sight purposes, so that it would make sense for us to be able to see him, eh?) "Is your settlement going to be near to water?"setamoon asked, his accent clearly showing him to be elven

"Why do you want to know where my settlement will be? So you can steal secrets from me? Eh, human?" Li'than shook his fist with his very might fury before continuing, "And drop the fake elvish accent! That wall has too much stone to be elven, and there's no way I'm going to put my eye up against a little slit to check if you're some kind of neo-Elf. That slit's a good way to lose an eye!"[/B] Li'than then mimed getting his eye gouged out for emphasis.

"There's a human here too, moron." Seri insulted the mysterious person.

"I want to know if your settlement is next to the water for docking puporses. And my accent isn't fake -switches to a tongue only elves can speak, due to some variances in the voicebox- I AM an elf, and I do not steal from people" Setamoon told the person on the other side of the wall

"Fine, fine," Li'than grumbled, ignoring the human altogether, "No need to speak the language. Well, now that we've identified that you are obviously quite trustworthy, being of the blood, I will inform you that I have no idea how to explain where my settlement is in relation to the camp you have here. You leave the wall and continue walking for a bit, wander in the forst, and maybe look for a large hut. Maybe with a campfire. It's close to the shore so I can easily access it for when my-our brethren arrive." Having given a sufficient report, Li'than looked towards the sun to check the time. Now that it had been established that there were no humans to kill here, he might as well get back to doing something productive.

Jinx just barely peered over the wall. It was difficult, trying to see over the wall, when you were so small. She looked up at Tika with a curious, almost childlike expression. "Do you think we should help them, or should we just leave them to their business?"

(sorry 'bout the absence, internet was down)

"Well, let's leave them to their business so they can build up their dock and we ask to use it. If they say no, eh, we build our own. So, let's get back to work." Setamoon said, going back to the huts(it's now huts, a granary, a stockpile, and some other necessity buildings, thanks to our npc builder. and a mine is set up, and a forge, thanks tot he dwarves we got now.)

"Ah, okay." She nodded at Setamoon & ran off again, joining the newly befriended farmers, hoping to find fertile land.

Setamoon got his hunting stuff and went off hunting. Tika, though, went around, inspecting progress, then she went to a hut that was built for her and setamoon and started making a flag, one that isn't the same as the flag on the mainland

Li'than looked at the wall in disgust. I mean really?! Just leaving for no reason to go hunting in the middle of a conversation?! That is.. That is an insult to my honor! If that bastard thinks he can just go off.. Well then. I might as well just repay him. Shows up here thinking he's so cool! I hope he's not emotionally attached to the wall.. But I need some help. Some sort of explosive soldier. Which means.. A dwarf! I NEED A DWARF!

Done planning his revenge, Li'than slipped away and dashed towards the beach. His first wave of colonists would be here soon, and he would then be able to ask for the military support of some mercenary dwarves. He would love the expression on their faces as he stormed in and eliminated their settlement. Maybe he would let the women and children leave.. And some of the men. Yes. He would do just that!
