This is an interesting exercise that I hope some of you will get involved with, I thought of it as I was walking to uni today.
Music is something that is 'universal', it is not only enjoyed by us but research into the effects of types of music on plants for example, show that music actually affects growth in plants.
The type of music we listen to in some way relates to us, and is an embodiment of our innermost thoughts and feelings. Sometimes music can be very personal, sometimes it can be a fun way to open up to others. Whatever you're using it for music is special to us all.
So, the idea of this thread is to post a piece of music that you feel reflects a part of you. If you can, try to make it without lyrics, as music alone says more than words could ever describe. If you don't know any instrumental music that you like, then posting lyric'd stuff is fine.
One thing I ask of you all is no posting about other's songs, if you have a comment pm them about it, but don't be harsh to them because songs can be very personal sometimes, and you don't want to discourage them from opening up to others on the forums. Try not to post anything off topic, this is about learning about the other people on the forum.
I found a nice site that you can upload your MP3 songs to, in case you can't link any on the web. All you do is upload and then copy the link:

And this is the song I think reflects me well at this point in time. It is called 'Cholymelan'. Just click download (me and Ivernus tested this and it should work fine, and there is no viruses and stuff atached to it either).
