The Rickety Old Bunni

"Sure, it had it's heyday. Everything has to fall one day though...it's not like we can all stand tall, but the people around us can stand by us. Hold us up in our time of need...that's all this old place needs. Someone to hold her up. To keep her alive...maybe one day old girl...maybe one day..."

An ornate bar that stands in the middle of a bustling city...it's customers accepted with a warm smile and invited into a warm room full of warm people.
It was the ideal place for everyone and anyone. That was 30 years ago...this building barely stands. The city around you ask? Nothing, but old shacks in a declining town.
Half of em' have fallen over, the other half are barely standing. Including The BunniBunni Bar...that building has the most history in the whole town.
People were made and broken there. People went in poor came out rich, people went in rich came out poor, but everyone was treated the same.
All that's left are the few people left in town...and the memories they have...all else has been lost. The city died with The BunniBunni Bar. Huh? The owner...h-he disappeared...



This is my take on what the site became, but I still think it might come back. Anyways, post your entrance with a description of your character, I don't need a sheet, just a four or five line paragraph explaining how your character got here, the name, and all that jazz. The whole point is in the people of the city trying to bring it back to it's former popularity, but the path there isn't an easy one. Have fun!

Zed leaned in the doorway of the bar and looked out over the city. He sighed and walked back behind the counter shining the glasses and looking out at the overturned tables and broken chairs.

"This place used to be so beautiful..." Zed mumbled and walked over to the column in the lobby of the bar. He placed his hand on it and closed his eyes. He flashed back to the happiness that used to fill the bar, the smiles, the laughs. He opened his eyes, it all seemed so distant, just a memory that had nothing left to represent it. It's like it never happened.

Zed began remembering when he first came to this bar for work, in his suit and tie, all dressed up and ready for his interview...

"Welcome to The BunniBunni Bar! How may I help you, sir?" The greeter said to me with a huge grin on his face.

"Oh, I'm here for the bartender job." Zed said and smiled back. This place is so amazing, he thought and walked closely behind the greeter. They entered a large office with a women seated behind it. She had a rose in her hair and sat up straight, with a smile she told me to sit.

"I believe your here for the bartender position?" She said questioningly.

"Yes, I am." I responded quickly smiling to her as I sat.

"Good, if you can serve customers well, you have the job," She looked at me a bit seriously, ",so we have to test you. You have a week to prove yourself and show us you can do the job."

A wave of happiness hit me, "Thank you so much! I won't disappoint you!" I began skip-walking to the door.

"So you don't want to know when you start?" She giggled.

I stopped a little embarrassed and turned back to look at her.

"Come in tomorrow around 6 AM. I'll show you what you'll be doing and how to greet customers." She said sternly, in a business like voice.

I smiled, "Thanks, see you tomorrow!"

Saehayan came behind Zed "Do you got anymore jobs? I ain't got one, and I don't wanna work at that factory downtown."

Zed snapped out of his thoughts as he heard someone say something, he caught the question, but barely.

"Heh, depends on what you mean by 'job'." Zed chuckled, but reset his tone, "Yea, it won't pay much, but it's better then that horrid factory..." His thoughts almost drifted away again, but he caught himself.

"I need someone to help me redo this room, chairs, wallpaper, paint, tables. Manual labor in other words." Zed turned to Saehayan. "20 gold a week is all I can afford, the factory pays 30 in case you change your mind. I just can't spare all that much you see. I got to spend most of it on the renovations...if that's even worth it." He sighed and turned back towards the destroyed room.

"I'll give you room and board too, if you need it. Utilities and electric will be free, if you don't mind sleeping in the old guest rooms upstairs." Zed looked up at the dusty ceiling and sighed.

Min is a small hyper-active girl who puts on a gentle appearance until she can trust the people around her. She's heard stories about a bar that used to be full and lively -- where everyone was treated equally... Where people made some of their best friends. Dreaming of having people that close, she set off to find the bar, and..well...she did.

A small girl with an oversized shirt and very short black skirt pushed open the door of the run-down building.

"Oh...what...happened to this place?" she mumbled. Disbelief painted her face.

She took a few steps in, walking slowly and looking around.

Anna was walking down a lane, as she saw a bar. She was caught staring at It, then she said "Well, It wouldn't hurt to take a look, I guess.". Saying that she opened the door. As she got In she saw two people, so she became silent, as see looked around walking she said "Gee, not the best, or worse bar, could use some working up, new paint layer, but It's still okay". Anna saw some stairs she whispered " Hm,wonder where It goes to, I think I'll take a look at It. As she said that she walked upstairs, she saw a guest room, then she was thinking "People sleep here...?". Then she walked downstairs, right then she took a look, again around the nice bar.

Tii Kayh Ouh is a woman who disguises her killer self with a cutesy self because of her violent past as a soldier, but disguised as a guy. (Hint, you can guess her body type.) Soon, the army found out about her real gender, and soon as they found out, she Tii escaped with a heavy briefcase and an innocent outfit. Tii's fake personality is pretty much the innocent and cutesy type, while her real side is manly and violent.

The door creaked open. "Uhm... is there.. a job for a security guard?..." A timid woman slowly entered the room, with briefcase in hand. She bowed quietly to the crowd. "I see, the first building with people in it.. I was getting worried this was like those zombie apocalypse that randomly happens in some quiet town.." The stranger set her briefcase down. Her eyes then darkened, and her voice shifted deep. She quietly said, "What are you people doing here anyway? Travelers? Criminals? Maniac?" The creepy woman looked like she would murder everyone of some certain death, but she proceeded on with the symphony of talking. "Slasher? Witch? Some creepy stranger that tends to be around kids all the time? (I had to add that.)" She then took out a lighter and cigarette, and lit the cigar, and of course, started smoking.

As Anna woke up she saw a new person, a girl. Anna got up, and said " Uh, Hello there" as she was rubbing her head. Anna stepped closer to the girl, wondering what she was thinking, just looking at her... just like a retarded person would Anna said "Why are you here?Vist?Job?" then she just stared, like a retard.

"I'm here for some gold and a job, please." The stranger's voice shifted into a cutesy tone once again.

Snapping out of his trance Zed looked out over the people who had entered the room, Damn, need to stop doing that. He looked out across everyone, he'd expected some people looking for work to come here, but not a lot of people. He finished his business with Saehayan before moving on to the others.

"Good any help is appreciated, I'd like you to start now, could you start fixing up the lobby here. Turn the tables upright and see if you can salvage some chairs from this mess." Zed said and moved on to the woman who had spoken in a way that sent chills down his spine.

"I was looking for someone more intimidating, but beggars can't be choosers. How much do you want to get paid, I can't spare much. Oh, and no smoking in here." Zed looked at her sternly awaiting a response, while keeping an eye on everyone else in the room that was wandering around. I'm not going to be able to hire everyone here, but I guess I didn't expect this many people.

"So, you're the owner of this bar?" She threw her cigarette outside. "Two pieces of gold is fine for me. I don't plan on buying clothes for myself." The woman then sat on a stool. "My name is Tii, Tii Kayh Ouh. I would like to be a security guard."

[Crazy]

"Hmm...I'll pay you ten if you start today and make sure no one else wanders around in here." Zed said trying to figure out if there was sarcasm in her voice. He looked around a bit checking for everyone, he'd barely kept track of them and heard some talking nearby. He kept focused on the woman in front of him thought barely diverting his attention.

"Please, open the suitcase." Tii's voice changed into a deep tone.

William Blubaney. The local drunk who is always trying to look for a job. He is trying to change his ways from being a drunk, but because of his past humiliations he prefers to work in the shadows mostly doing the dirty work.

William saw all these people walking into the Bunnibunni Bar. I wonder if they are opening up again. Maybe I can get a job, I should probably hurry before they are all gone. William limped to the Bunnibunni bar door and went in. He saw all the people already in there and pulled down his hat and limped to the manager. In his gruff voice he asked, "Would ye be willin' to get me a job, mister? I could do the cleanin' in the back or anything else you 'ad in mind. I am a 'ard working man and would do anything in the back..... as long..... as long if I didn't 'ave to work out in the bar?"

The tiny girl crossed her legs shyly and stared at her feet. "I'm not good with moving things and building things..." she mumbled, and suddenly thought she was being rude. "Oh, but I can do other things!" Her hair flipped as she jerked her head up, staring at Zed with wide eyes. "I could gather some other workers -- and they're pretty rich, so you wouldn't have to pay them. I could also go buy the paint and new furnish... I'd need people to bring it in, though, but I can do a lot of things as long as it doesn't require me to pick something up...something too heavy, at least." She blushed only slightly out of embarrassment. "I'm not very strong; I have always been weak."

"Whatever girl" said Saehayan. "Sooooooo what do I do first? You aren't making it to clear to me, and I'm tired anyway" Saehayan said to Zed

Anna just went over to the bar counter, then she sat down at a stool putting her hand on her chin, lost In thought, tapping her fingers on the counter, tip tap tip tap Is all the sound she made. Then she thought I need a job, too. There might be none left, but It's worth a shot, with that said she walked to Zed. "Hello, Sir, I might be late, though, but do you have any jobs open? If so I would very much take one, I work cheap, too, so I'm not a bother." When saying that she moved the hair out her eyes, staring at her feet.

"I guess I'll open it myself.." Tii unlocked the briefcase. A shotgun and dual pistols were in sight, along with five packs of ammunition and shells. "So, do I get the job?"

Anna saw he was busy she went away over to girl with the suitcase. She said In a sarcasm way " What's with the guns, you must really want this job, I'm guessing?" With saying that she put her hand on a table.

"Where else do I get a job, ma'am?" Tii asked, her voice didn't turn icy cold. "Besides, I was somewhere where you would never want to go as a woman.."

Hearing that Anna took her hand off the table and said " Well, there's better jobs out there, and I'm guessing I haven't, but I have been in hard times" Anna stood still looking at the girl.

[Lovelight]

"Eh, I just need some booze." Tii replied. "Anyway, what is your name?" She said in a cheerful voice.

"Names Anna, what's yours?" Anna said that In a normal tone.

[Lovelight]

"Name is Tii, Tii Kayh Ouh." Tii bowed. She closed the suitcase and sat on a stool.

A mysterious young woman, named Jezzabelle who is rich beyond belief. Not much is known about her, other than 'she is not from around here'. She always carries a purple spider-conch shell, although no one really knows why. She wears a sarcastic, bored-looking expression most of the time, and expresses little emotions unless they are strong. Her tone is sarcastic almost all of the time, and she has a tendency to rub people the wrong way, although it's hard to tell whether she means to or not, but it sometimes looks like she enjoys it.

Anna Looked around the bar once more, seeing there was nothing left. Anna went over to stool and sat down, moving away the hair In her face, and brushing her skirt for dust. She settled her hands on the counter looking at the area behind the counter, she thought "This place can get moving back to a great start, but they need to fix It up, I think i might as well get a job here, too." while thinking that she was moving her foot.

"Well, I guess you could go to work cleaning up the guest rooms up stairs and keep everything in order here." Zed said to William, looking him in the eyes. "Other then that, there really isn't anything I can thing of for you..." He said and turned to answer one of the other people asking him things.

Zed turned to the small girl and replied to her, "Well, I do need some paint for this place, and I can't spare too much gold. I guess I'd have a bit for you to do, these other two here could unload the furniture that you get and help you with that." He said and looked at Saehayan in a annoyed manner, "I'd like you to clean up this room here, fix the chairs, the tables, and clean up in here. That is what I'd like you to do."

"Hmm...I guess you could work with this guy in cleaning the upper guest rooms." Zed said then looked towards William, "You'd need to work with him to get it cleaned up, it's a mess up there." His eyes got wide when he saw what was in Tii's briefcase, "These weapon's are legal right?"

[Lovelight]

"It matters?" After a quiet pause, Tii sighed. "Well yes, this babes are legal... I smuggled them from my escape to freedom." She then stood up and then asked, "Have you checked how many beds are available?"

William nodded and went to go look for some cleaning supplies. He found a broom, dustpan, some rags, and a bucket. He filled the bucket with water and walked upstairs. He walked into the first room and thought Boy, tis' quite a mess to be cleaning up... He quick got to work, sweeping, dusting, and some down on hands and knees scrubbing.

Saehayan, lacking off his job, snuck up behind William trying to freak him out, "Hi, Have we met before? You look familiar." Saehayan waited for the reply..

Zed looked at Tii and responded, "Yea, there's four rooms and each room has two beds, but the rooms are a horrible mess. Although someone just went up to clean them." He said and remembered the bit of conversation he overheard. "You said your name was Tii Kayh Ouh? Nice to meet you, name's Zed Voorheez."

William looked up at the man next to him and shook his head. Mumbling he answered, "No, I don't recollect seeing ye'."

[Lovelight]

Tii bowed. "Yes. It's nice to meet you, Mr. Voorheez." She then raised out er hand for a hand shake. "Let's keep this tavern lively, eh?" The woman grinned, with such energized eyes.

"Oh, Nice to meet you" Saehayan said not really meaning it "You work here don't cha? Ah...where are my manners, My name is Saehayan, it's Korean" Saehayan paused for a moment " You can call me Saeh, What's your name?"

Anna went walking to Zed. "Hello sir, I was wondering If you had any opens jobs, all I can work for Is one gold per a week, so I'm not a bother".

"My name is William, but you can call me Will." Will said quietly and then turned to grab the bucket of water and the rag. He went over to the window and brushed the cobwebs and started wiping them down.

[Antimony]

Antimony walked into the village, barefoot. She passed deserted houses, and then a bar. "Hmm.." she wondered to herself. They may know of an inn or hotel she could stay at.

She slung her pack over her shoulder and strode in. She went up to the bar and sat down.

Zed heartily shook Tii's hand, "Guaranteed. Welcome aboard." His smile wide he released his grip and turned to Anna looking into her eyes.

"That's awful cheap, but I'd be glad to have you aboard for that price." Ze smiled at her and continued, "If you wouldn't mind you could start cleaning, I need as many people as I can to clean this place. As you can see," He gestured around the room at the mess, "This place definitely needs cleaning."

Jezzabelle was strolling through the town looking around at all of the old buildings. Most of them had a rustic feel that was rare where she was from.

By rustic, she meant rundown. The town was like a ghost town, there wasn't many people about, especially at this time of day.

Squinting, she noticed some activity at a particularly old building, that looked much shabbier than the rest. "I wonder what rats are infesting that building... and why..." she said aloud, seemingly to no-one in particular, "we should check it out, yes? See what the commotion is about..."

She walked toward the building, her shoes making a heavy 'CA-lunk, CA-lunk' sound as she walked.

Nearing the door she pushed it ajar with the spiked edges of the conch shell and peered in, surprised by the number of people in the building, mostly doing nothing. Curious she stepped inside, and stood surverying the scene. A couple of people feebly worked to clean up some of the broken furniture laying about the place. Jezzabelle screwed her nose up at the dust, and stood leaning against the wall watching the people interact, unsure and uncaring of whether she had been noticed or not.

Saehayan tapped Jezzabelle on the back. "Scary place, isn't it? and No, I know what you're thinking. You aren't noticed. Well. You are noticed, but not by the people you notice. There is more to this building than you think." Without second thought, Saehayan vanished, and appeared on to the other side of Jezzabelle.

William seeing that the other worker was gone from the room, he relaxed. He finished up with the room he was in, seeing that is was a job well done, he moved to the next room. As he walked in he wasn't the least bit surprised to find that this room was fairly clean. He wasn't surprised because this had been his own home for a while before the bar was bought by someone. He remembered spending days in here. Just him and the mice. He sighed.

"I am sorry, Jezzebelle. Forgive me?" Saehayan pleaded. "But you don't get it do you. There is much more than what you think here. The things you see aren't really real. I would escape if I were you"
Trying not to start a fight, Saehayan said: "I started out like you, wondering, and curious, but I ended up like this. I can only leave this building 4 hours a day. Otherwise, I have to stay here and make clay pots. Please for the love of your own sanity, you must leave at once, unless you want to end up like me. Knowing eveyone's thoughts, and disapearing unnescessaril-" Saehayan dissapeared. All that was left was a yellow note where he was standing, that said the following 'y...that was the ending of my sentence before I vanished. Cheers'

That doesn't involve ghosts and inconsistent characters. Can you please not try and take over the rp with your own crappy storyline no one cares about? No, I am not taking over the storyline, I am doing one person and one person only. I am doing what everyone else does. My plot may not fit in to you, but I take time out of my day, and get yelled at for being on the computer, just to do this. So it fits in to me. I am sorry, I am not perfect, but you don't have to point out every little detail I do wrong, I can handle that myself. Thank you very much. You are no more perfect than me, and I don't get on to your case about anything. I don't get on anyone's case about anything. Why should you get on mine?

a) you don't know people's names until they tell you (unless it has been previously arranged that you know each other

b) normal people (which is what I assumed everyone in this rp was since it was not stated otherwise in their descriptions) don't just randomly phase in and out of existence, unless they are not normal in which case they are either assumed to be a ghost or someone with magical or super powers.

c) It was inconsistent because your character was normal then suddenly was some kind of ghost, it wasn't mysterious it was just weird and made no sense, thus inconsistent.

d)I'm not getting on your case I'm pointing out WHERE YOU NEED PRACTICE so that you may ACTUALLY rp with people without either pissing them off or causing them to ignore you (or both). Nobody likes to rp with godmodders or people who just do whatever the hell they want without any explanation or consistency with the plot/character they are rping with, much like your disappearing acts.

So yea, here's some tips:

Explain your character in the character sheet so people don't get any ugly surprises when you're like lol I was acting normal but now I'm actually a superhero and can phasewarp between space and time, oh you didn't know that? Well now you do.

Keep with the story, don't try to make stuff up that doesn't fit with the plot. It just makes people look at you strangely and then continue on with what they were doing and ignoring your words entirely. If you start to deviate with your own stuff like the whole being trapped in the bar for no apparent reason, people will ignore you and you will start feeling left out of the rp.

As stated previously, unless you know the person and have stated it in your character sheet and the other person has agreed to knowing your character (or you are psychic, which should be stated in your character sheet), you do not call people by their name the first time you meet them. You don't talk to random people you don't know by their first name without first asking them what their name is since you would obviously not know it. The same logic applies to rps.

Sorry, but to get practice, I NEED to practice. Does that make sense? and, as I said before, he is mysterious. cheese. Just leave me alone. I need to practice my rp (as YOU said) what better way than to actually rping itself.
Do you guys/girls have jobs to peeve me off? I don't have a life of butterflies and berries. My life is hard enough as is, and I don't need YOU to be making it harder, when I don't know you in real life. I'm done with this rp, until I get some stuff cleared up, and yes, I am stopping in this rp. for. real. for. shizzle. My life is so much happier when I don't have a burden of people that hate my guts on here. Has anyone on here ever told you to do something that you were doing wrong? maybe a suggestion? probably not. Have I? yes, and I will count too. sometime.....
to sum it all up, I am sorry! gosh! sorry! is that a word you know? I am sorry! and have been for months on row! no one cares about me, that's why no one knows I am sorry! maybe if people wouldn't talk behind my behind my back, they would know I am sorry.

All I did was offer a bit of helpful advice that you could definitely use, but whatever man, hope your life problems disappear or something, since you seem to have SOOoooOOoo many and all.

So since this discussion is becoming quite pointless and you just keep going on with stuff I don't care about, I'm going to pretend you said something like this and move on.

@thisismyusername: One thing you need to understand is, no one on this forum is trying to peeve you off (at least not that I know off) but I can sorta see how you might have seen it that way. As Screw said, she was trying to offer constructive criticism to help you improve your rping and at times she can be very blunt about it (which is why I can also understand how you felt about her post). Unfortunatly I haven't been as active on these forums as I used to be (due to cripplying laziness and also cripplying low self-esteem and tolerance of others XD), but im pretty sure no one on this forum hates you. They might get midly annoyed by a post but *Shrugs* that happens with everyone, not just you. On an interner Forum, there are always going to be harsh comments, you just need to learn to roll with them I guess, don't let them get you down but also don't completely ignore them.

Anyway to put it simply, I highly doubt anyone here hates you, maybe they get annoyed at you but really, that happens with everyone. If the forum is making you life more stressful, perhaps a short break from it would be good? The point of these forums is to mainly have fun, and
