Does anyone have a theory involving time travel, paradoxes, or reasons why time travel is not possible? I would explain my side later as it is pretty long and stuff...

First of all, impossible doesn't exist.

Secondly, Science has actually proven time travel possible in theory, both forward and backwards, it's just very impractical without god like powers, or the type of technology that would be to advanced for you to comprehend.

Second with Cthulhu.

Albert Einstein's theory of relativity and time travel proves it.
It's pretty difficult to understand, but apparently time can slow depending on viewpoint.
Pretty freaky stuff, you know?

Doesn't time move slower for you if you are going faster? I got told by someone who was doing physics at uni about time travel kind of stuff, he said if you were moving at light speed in space then if you went back to earth what would feel like minutes to you would be like years on earth. They also said that time travel into the past on earth is kinda of unlikely, but it could be done in space because of reasons I forget. Can't really remember it was a few years back now. The bottom line is, time travel is possible, both forward and back (but much easier forward since that's how time moves naturally), but it's unlikely we will find any easy way to build a time machine here on earth.

But as Cthulhu said, nothing is impossible. Einstein thought that anything achieving light speed was impossible, but about 2 years ago they managed to force radiowaves into beyond light speed and it caused "light sonic booms" (Like sound sonic booms except instead of releasing a large amount of sound it gave off a large amount of light) similar to those seen in quasars. So yea, nothing is impossible :P

I like in that movie, based off H.G. Wells book about that time machine. The idea that some events in time are fixed, but also contradictory, events can also be changed. For example event 1. where his gf dies, and every time he goes back, no matter what he does, she dies, but in different ways. So realising he can't save her, he goes forward in time instead, and by using the time machine in the past alters the history of the future. And then later on by destroying the time machine in the future the past is altered as well, which in turn re-alters the future. It's baffling, and incredibly weird to think about.

Traveling into the future is actually very simple. You see when gravity increases time slows down, so if you get a powerful enough spaceship, all you have to do is circle a black hole and time will pass by very quickly.
