Nex Fabula: Shaol

[Mkishere]

The man quirked a brow, "Kid, you have no idea what you're talking about, we're all poor here." The man fingered his dagger, "Children here have no manners, they steal, they don't ask for food. It's our job to teach them lessons." Two other men crowded around. "Now hand me back the bread, the bread I cooked and intended to sell, it's how I make a living. I do this rather than killing and stealing."

[Lovelight]

"Then why don't you at least give them some food? Hm? Would you want to see a bunch of dead children, in front of you? Besides, we steal for a living. If us kids didn't steal, we'd be rotten and dead. So please, give some food." She asked.

[Mkishere]

"I already lose enough to you rascals, I don't bake bread to get it stealed. There's so many of you kids produced, you're like rats. You already have a piece of my bread, once you realize you can take advantage of my you keep coming back, RATS. Now shoo, take the bread but if I see your face around here again, know I'm going to hurt you on sight." The man said.

Serith shrugged and ran off with the bread, "Come on Tommy."

[Lovelight]

"Hmph, so rude." She walked away, following Serith.

[Mkishere]

"Yes, a thief with no manners calls me rude after I spare a loaf of bread I myself made." The man turned and walked back to his shop.

"You know, I didn't want to steal this, I'm just hungry." Serith said, taking a bite then breaking it in half and giving the half to Tommy.

[Lovelight]

"Well, at least we got bread, right?" She said.

[Mkishere]

"I guess. . . when I grow up! I'm not going to steal from the poor." Serith said, taking another bite and walking along.

[Lovelight]

"Me too." She smiled. She wanted time to go faster, but they'll just have to wait. "So what should we do now?" Tommy asked.

[Mkishere]

Serith looked around, "I have no idea."

[Lovelight]

She sighed, "We should take a break and sit down for a while." She sat down on the ground.

[Mkishere]

Serith sat down beside her, "I'm thirsty, lets go visit the well."

[Lovelight]

"Okay!" She stood up. "Do you know where the well is?" She asked.

[Mkishere]

"Yes, down this way and we'll take a left, " Serith said. He started walking as if he was a GPS.

[Lovelight]

Tommy started to follow Serith.

[Mkishere]

Serith took a left and walked into the large opening with a well in it. What could have once been a wonderful town center was laying out in front of them. The dark nearly broken well sat in the middle and run down houses circled the large opening.

A few people were walking around in this area though what was once a center of communication, art work, and trading was now an abandoned town center. The cobblestone was chipped from the beating of war and erosion.

At the end of the circular opening were a large set of stairs leading up the mountain, some people were climbing up to the castle ruins which now serves as a bazaar or blackmarket.

Serith walked to the well in the center and looked in, taking in the looks around him he stared at the giant stairs leading up the mountain.

[Lovelight]

Tommy stood there. "Where does the stairs lead to?" She asked.

[Mkishere]

"The castle ruins, where we came out from the hole before, " Serith answered.

[Lovelight]

"I see.." She didn't know how to use a well since she was young. "How do you use a well?" She asked,

[Mkishere]

Serith pulled the bucket down and then scooped it back up, "It's like magic! You pull this string and then the buket goes down, then you pull this other one and it comes up with water!"

[Lovelight]

"Oh cool!" She said. "And it's bucket, not buket." She chuckled. She took some water and then drank it.

[Mkishere]

"Bucket, Okay," Serith drank out of the bucket as well. Then he finished drinking and looked around.

[Lovelight]

Tommy decided to take a rest. She sat down. "I'm tired." She yawned.

[Mkishere]

"No not here, it's not safe here, " Serith said.

[Lovelight]

Tommy perked up. "Why?" She asked.

[Mkishere]

"It's right in the center of town, " Serith answered.

[Lovelight]

"So what can be so bad about it?" She asked. Tommy didn't get it.

[Mkishere]

Serith sighed, "While you're sleeping people can kill you or steal from you, this is a dangerous place!" Serith said, holding out a hand, "Come on lets go somewhere safer."

[Lovelight]

Tommy now understood him. She grabbed his hand.

[Mkishere]

Serith walked back to his house, "Lets rest."

[Lovelight]

"Okay." Tommy was tired too after all.

[Mkishere]

Serith crawled into his house under the broken wall and laid down.

[Lovelight]

Tommy yawned. It was nice to rest. She sat down on a corner, then started to close her eyes.

(srry i dint post, my dad grounded me for some reason and when he isnt home(not often) i can get on) Zappel fell to the ground as the kid jumped on him and saw him get ready to punch him, but he hesitated[now's my chance]Zappel quickly brought his knee up and hit the kid and shoved him off and jumped off the building and ran through the alleyways, hoping the kid wasn't following

Marco got up a bit stunned, he should have punched the theif. He bagan to think of a plan as he followed the theif through the alley ways.

Zappel glanced over his shoulder and saw some movement in the shadows, so he quickly ducked into another alley and jumped on top of the building, ran across it, jumped off and started weaving down alleyways to shake off his pursuer

Marco wasn't going to give up, he slowed down and let the thief get further away and he began to follow him again.

(ive noticed, youve spell thief wrong, its i before e, except after c :D)Zappel kept ducking through alleys and gaining speed and overall trying to lose the pursuer,[probably still following me]Zappel thought
